Mark Lawson (born December 17, 1978)[ citation needed ] is an American actor known for portraying Brody Lovett on the ABC soap opera One Life to Live .
Lawson grew up in Bristol, Virginia, [1] and later studied at the Boston Conservatory, where he earned his BFA in musical theatre, and London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.[ citation needed ]
Lawson's first role was as Jerry Stone in the 2005 Cold Case episode "Yo, Adrian". [1] After five years in Los Angeles, he was about to give up on acting when he landed the role of ex-Navy SEAL Brody Lovett on the ABC soap opera One Life to Live and moved to New York in March 2008. [1] [2] Lawson played the character until the series ended in 2012. [2] In July 2019, Lawson began appearing as Dustin Phillips on General Hospital . [2] [3]
Lawson is also a personal trainer and runs a strength and conditioning business, called Forge.[ citation needed ]

One Life to Live is an American soap opera broadcast on the ABC television network for more than 43 years, from July 15, 1968, to January 13, 2012, and then on the internet as a web series on Hulu and iTunes via Prospect Park from April 29 to August 19, 2013. Created by Agnes Nixon, the series was the first daytime drama to primarily feature ethnically and socioeconomically diverse characters and consistently emphasize social issues. One Life to Live was expanded from 30 minutes to 45 minutes on July 26, 1976, and then to an hour on January 16, 1978.
Linda Dano is an American actress and television host. She began her career appearing in film and prime time television before, in 1978, she was cast as Rae Cummings on the ABC daytime soap opera, One Life to Live (1978–80). From 1983 to 1999, Dano starred as Felicia Gallant in the NBC soap opera Another World. She returned to One Life to Live starring in the show from 1999 to 2004. Dano was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award seven times, winning once for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in 1993 for her work on Another World.

Roger Howarth is an American actor. He played character Todd Manning on the daytime drama One Life to Live (OLTL); the character earned Howarth a Daytime Emmy Award in 1994, and is cited as an icon in the soap opera genre. He left the series in 2003 and joined soap opera As the World Turns, where he played the character of Paul Ryan until the series' final episode in 2010. Howarth returned to OLTL in May 2011, continuing the role on General Hospital in March 2012. Due to a lawsuit from Prospect Park, Howarth, along with Kristen Alderson and Michael Easton, were forced to exit their roles in March 2013, only to return as new characters in May of the same year. He returned as Franco on General Hospital, the character formerly created and portrayed by James Franco. Shawn Butler is a fictional character from the ABC soap opera General Hospital. The role is portrayed by actor Sean Blakemore and first appeared on January 24, 2011, on a recurring basis. On April 6, 2011, it was announced that Blakemore was put on contract with the series. On May 18, 2015, it was announced that Blakemore had taped his last scenes as Shawn and would be exiting the series. Butler returned for one day on November 19, 2015. Butler was visited by Sam and Jason Morgan in early April 2016.
