Mark Montefiore is a Canadian film and television producer, most noted as the founder and president of New Metric Media. [1]

Originally from St. Catharines, Ontario, he studied in the broadcasting program at Niagara College; initially his goal was to become an actor, but through the program he discovered a passion and skill for production. [2] He worked principally as a film producer for the first decade of his career, most notably on The Armoire [3] and Cas and Dylan . [4]

He launched New Metric Media in 2013 to produce television series. [5] The company's productions have included Letterkenny , [6] What Would Sal Do? , [7] Bad Blood , [8] Children Ruin Everything , [9] Shoresy , [10] and Bria Mack Gets a Life . [11]

What Would Sal Do? is a Canadian television comedy series, which premiered on CraveTV in 2017 and was aired on Super Channel in 2018.

Bad Blood is a Canadian crime drama television series created and produced by Simon Barry. The show premiered on Citytv on September 21, 2017. The series ran for two seasons totaling 14 episodes until November 29, 2018. A French-language version of the show premiered on November 11, 2017 on Ici Radio-Canada Télé under the title Les liens du sang. Initially intended as a miniseries, it was renewed by Rogers Media for a second season in March 2018, which was broadcast on Citytv and FX Canada.
