Mark Francis Mullins (born 15 November 1966) is an English surgeon and former first-class cricketer.
Mullins was born at Gravesend in November 1966 and later studied at Homerton College at the University of Cambridge. [1] While studying at Cambridge,he played first-class cricket for Cambridge University Cricket Club in 1989,making six appearances. [2] Playing as a medium pace bowler in the Cambridge side,he took 10 wickets at average of 43.80; [3] half of these wickets came in a single innings against Glamorgan on his first-class debut. [4]
After training at St Mary's Hospital in London,Mullins became a specialist orthopaedic surgeon. [5]
Roger Clive Davis is a Welsh former county cricketer who played for Glamorgan for 13 years as an all-rounder. While having a quiet career from his debut in 1964 until 1970,he then enjoyed five years of greater success,including scoring over 1,000 runs in the 1975 season,before a rapid decline in 1976 which saw him dropped from the team. He nevertheless enjoyed a successful career,with over 7,000 runs and 241 wickets in first-class cricket. He became headline news in 1971,when a ball hit him on the side of the head while he was fielding in the dangerous "short leg" position,causing his heart and breathing to stop.
Robert Damien Bale Croft MBE is a former Welsh cricketer who played international cricket for England. He is an off-spin bowler who played for Glamorgan and captained the county from 2003 to 2006. He retired from first class cricket at the end of the 2012 season,having played county cricket for 23 seasons. He commentates on cricket occasionally for Sky Sports.
