Sunni Cultural Center, Dubai, also called Markaz Dubai is a religious and cultural center of Markazu Saquafathi Sunniyya [1] in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Opened on April 22, 2010, under the supervision of the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department of Dubai, [2] the center intendedly provides a variety of services to members of the Muslim community.

Markaz Dubai is an educational center for those who wish to increase their knowledge of Islamic principles and cultural values, and therefore intends to strengthen the social structure of the community. The center provides counselling and support in all areas of family life, including pre-marital and marital counselling, marital contracts, and parenting. The center also hosts charitable and social events, such as meetings and blood drives. [3] [4]

Founding members of the center include: Dr. Hamad Bin Al Shaikh Ahmad Al Shaibani, Director General of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai, [5] Sheikh Abubakr Ahmad, Chancellor of Markaz, [6] Lt. Gen. Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Head of General Security of Dubai, [5] Dr. MAH Azhari Director General of Markaz, Dr. Omar Mohammed Al Khateeb Executive Director of the Islamic Affairs Sector, [5] Dr. Adel Juma Matar, Head of the Islamic Institutions Department, [7] and Mohammad Abdullah Al Haj Al Zarouni, Head of Emirates Red Crescent. The Samastha Kerala Jem-iyyathul Ulama, 1926, was the principal Sunni-Shafi'i scholarly body in northern Kerala. Most of the ordinary Sunnis of Kerala, adhering to Shafi'i Law, largely followed the Ulama. A forty-member 'mushawara' was the high command body of the Sunni council. The council administered thousands of Shafi'ite mosques, madrasas and Arabic Colleges.

Jamiul Futuh is a mosque in Markaz Knowledge City, Kozhikode district, Kerala state, India under the Markaz by Sheikh Abubakr Ahmad. It was proposed along with Knowledge City on 12 acre land and is said to accommodate about 25000 people at an estimated cost of about 400 million.
