Marracash is the self-titled debut album by Italian rapper Marracash. It was released on 13 June 2008 in Italy, where its peak position was #11. The album was produced by Don Joe & Deleterio and the featured guests are J Ax, Club Dogo, Vincenzo da Via Anfossi and Co'Sang. The first single from the album, "Badabum Cha Cha", peaked at number 9 on FIMI.

The song features rapper Busta Rhymes who co-wrote the song with its producer, CeeLo Green. The song contains an interpolation of "Swass" which is written and performed by Sir Mix-a-Lot. It is an R&B song. "Don't Cha" was originally recorded by Tori Alamaze who released the song as her first single; however, after minor success and dissatisfaction with her label she gave up her rights to the song. Universal Music Group gave it to the Pussycat Dolls as the label was trying to reinvent the girl group.

In 1993, the Pussycat Dolls was created as a burlesque troupe by choreographer Robin Antin. After attracting media attention, Antin struck a joint venture with Interscope Records to develop the Pussycat Dolls into a brand, with Jimmy Iovine assigning the project to Ron Fair. Fabio Bartolo Rizzo, better known by his stage name Marracash, is an Italian rapper, record producer and TV personality. Starting his career in the rap group Dogo Gang, he debuted as a solo artist rising in fame in the 2010s releasing six studio albums that reached the top ten of the Italian Albums Chart, including two top positions with Santeria (2016) and Persona (2019). The rapper has also released numerous successful singles and collaborations scoring seventeen times the top ten of the Italian Singles Chart. Thanks to his work he has sold 3 million copies in Italy, becoming one of the top selling Italian rappers in the 2010s.

Badabum Cha Cha is an Italian song by Sicilian rapper Marracash. Released on April 18, 2008, the song is the album and rapper's lead single. The song was first released on Marracash's official website and just in two days, the song had been listened 5.000 times. Due to high Italian airplay, and also due to high sales, the song from #31, reached a peak of #25.

Despite not being included on Persona, the track was released as a single in March 2020, and added to the track listing of Persona's streaming version.
