Marthand K. Venkatesh is an Indian film editor who mostly works for Telugu films, and is the winner of four Nandi Awards.

Life and career

Venkatesh is son of noted Telugu film editor K. A. Marthand. [1] He used to assist his father in editing for the films produced by Suresh Productions. Telugu film director K. Raghavendra Rao gave him the first independent charge of editing his Allari Premikudu in 1994. With the success of his films in the maiden year like Preminchukundam Raa , Bavagaru Bagunnara! and Tholi Prema . He lost his father the same year and was guided by Raghvendra Rao. He has many hit films for his credit during the last two decades. They include Daddy (2001), Kalisundam Raa , Leader (2010 film) , Happy Days (2007 film) , Arya (2004 film), Anand (2004), Bommarillu and Pokiri (2006), Arundhati (2009 film) and more. He is a prominent editor in the Telugu film industry.

It received the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu at National Film Awards 2001. The film won four Nandi Awards by Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Kanuri Ranjith Kumar was an Indian Film Producer. born into a wealthy agricultural family to Kanuri Ramananda Chowdary and VimalaDevi in a rural village Kowtharam in Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh. He founded "Ranjith Movies" banner with the help of his uncle K L N Prasad who is a well known Industrialist & Politician. Ranjith Kumar entered the film world as a producer in 1973 with his first Telugu film venture "Chikati Velugulu" directed by K.S.Prakash Rao followed by a successful movie "Mana Voori Katha" starring Krishna and Jaya Pradha in 1976. Ranjith Kumar has won various laurels for his films. He produced entertainers with not only commercial interests but also social concern. It would be right to say that his films reflect human values. In 1977, he went on to produce the super hit film "Maa Iddari kadha" with the Legend N.T.Rama Rao who played dual role.

Anil Malnad was an Indian editor who worked in over 200 films across Telugu, Tamil and Odia languages. He won the National Film Award for Best Editing for the Telugu film Sitaara (1984).
