Martin de Lisle Hart (born 17 November 1927) is an English former first-class cricketer.
Hart was born at Ealing. He later studied at St Edmund Hall at the University of Oxford. [1] While studying at Oxford,he played first-class cricket for Oxford University in 1951,making four appearances against Gloucestershire,Middlesex,the Free Foresters and Leicestershire. [2] Playing as a leg break bowler,he took 6 wickets at an average of 55.00 and with best figures of 2 for 77. [3]
Sir Geoffrey Charles Hurst is an English former professional footballer. A striker,he became the first player to ever score a hat-trick in a World Cup final. He scored that hat-trick when England recorded a 4–2 victory over West Germany at Wembley in 1966. With the death of Sir Bobby Charlton in October 2023,Hurst became the last living player from the team that won the 1966 final.

The Magdalen Ground was a cricket ground in Oxford,England. The ground was owned by the University of Oxford and used by Magdalen College,a constituent college of the University of Oxford. Originally forming the northern point of Cowley Marsh,the ground was initially associated with the Magdalen College School,whose students played cricket there. By 1829,the Oxford University Cricket Club had been given a part of the marsh where the College School played cricket. In 1851,it was purchased at auction by the University of Oxford and leased to the University Cricket Club. The ground operated as a first-class cricket venue from 1829 to 1880,hosting 69 first-class matches. The University Cricket Club left the ground following the 1880 season to play at the University Parks from 1881.
