Martina Gil (born 3 November 2003) [1] is an Argentinian rhythmic gymnast. [2] She represents her country in international competitions.
In June 2021 Martina competed with two apparatuses in the Pan American Championships in Rio de Janeiro, she took 17th place with both hoop and ball and 4th in the team competition. [3] [4]
In June 2022 she competed in the Pan American Championships, being 5th in teams and 15th in the All-Around. [5] [6] In October she was selected for the South American Games in Assuncion, she was 18th in the All-Around and 8th in both the hoop and ball finals. [7] [8] [9] In late November she won silver in teams, with Celeste D'Arcángelo, Lara Granero and Agostina Vargas Re, and bronze with ball at the South American Championships in Paipa. [10]
In 2023 she participated in the World Cup in Portimão, where she took 49th place overall. [11] In June she took part in the Pan American Championships in Guadalajara, she was 6th in teams, 14th with hoop and 20th with ribbon. [12] A month later she tool 18th place in the All-Around at the 2021 Summer World University Games in Chengdu. [13] [14] In October she won silver in the team competition along Celeste D'Arcángelo and Agostina Vargas Re, at the South American Championships in Barranquilla. [15]
In June 2024 Gil participated in the Pan American Championships in Ciudad de Guatemala, finishing 5th in teams and 17th in the All-Around. [16] [17]
Salma Solaun is a Spanish rhythmic gymnast who competed at the 2019 Junior World Rhythmic Gymnastic championships, where she won a bronze medal. She also won a silver medal at the 2022 European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, in the 3 ribbons + 2 balls final.
Polina Berezina Ksenofontova is an individual rhythmic gymnast. Born in Russia, she represents Spain internationally. She has competed at seven Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships and won a bronze medal with the Spanish team in 2022. She is a five-time Spanish national all-around champion at the senior level. She competed at the 2024 Summer Olympics in women's rhythmic individual all-around and placed 15th, cutoff from the finals.
Celeste D’Arcángelo is an Argentine rhythmic gymnast known for being the first Argentinian in this discipline to qualify at the Olympic Games, in this case, the Youth of Buenos Aires 2018. She is also an eight-time national champion.
Mireia Martínez is a Spanish rhythmic gymnast. She's the bronze All-Around and 5 hoops medalist at the 2022 World Championships.
