Its county seat and most populous city is Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania's second most populous city. Allegheny County is the center of the Pittsburgh, PA metropolitan statistical area and the Pittsburgh media market.

The school is currently located in Irwin, Pennsylvania, North Huntingdon Township and operates under the name "Viola Karate."
