Cape Breton University (CBU) is a public university located in Sydney,Nova Scotia,Canada. It is the only post-secondary degree-granting institution within the Cape Breton Regional Municipality and on Cape Breton Island. The university is enabled by the Cape Breton University Act passed by the Nova Scotia House of Assembly. Prior to this,CBU was enabled by the University College of Cape Breton Act (amended). The University College of Cape Breton's Coat of Arms were registered with the Canadian Heraldic Authority on May 27,1995.

Stone County was formed from the northern portion of Harrison County on June 5,1916. The county was named for John M. Stone,who served as Governor of Mississippi from 1876 to 1882 and again from 1890 to 1896.

Judith Ann Bense is an American academic,Florida historical archaeologist,and a former president of the University of West Florida. She is also the chairwoman of the Florida Historical Commission at the University of West Florida,she served as a faculty member and department chair in the anthropology program,which she started at the school. In 2008,she started her 7-year term as president of the university. Prior to this,she was the executive director of anthropology and archaeology at UWF. During her career,she was fundamental in drafting the legislation to create the Florida Public Archaeology Network (FPAN).

Harrison Hall is a former student dormitory located on the campus of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in Perkinston,Mississippi. It was constructed in 1936–37,and was designated a Mississippi Landmark in 2003. Following renovation in 2018,the building was repurposed to house administrative offices.
Hilda Pinnix-Ragland is an American business executive and philanthropist. As the former Vice President of Corporate Public Affairs for Duke Energy,she was the first African-American woman to serve as a vice president at the company. She previously worked as the Vice President of Energy Delivery Services,Vice President of the North Region,and Vice President of Economic Development for Progress Energy Inc and was the first African-American woman to serve as a vice president. She currently serves on the board of directors for RTI International as Chair Audit &Risk Committee,in 2016,she was appointed to the 8 Rivers Capital,an energy technology company's Board and in 2020 she was appointed to the Board of Directors of Southwest Water Company. She is often the first African-American woman board member. Pinnix-Ragland also serves as the chairwoman of the board of trustees at North Carolina A&T State University. In May 2017 she co-authored the book The Energy Within Us:An Illuminating Perspective from Five Trailblazers.

Joseph C. Canizaro is an American commercial real estate developer and philanthropist. Throughout the latter half of the 20th century,Canizaro developed several buildings that make up the New Orleans skyline. In 2005,Canizaro was described as the "single most influential business executive from New Orleans". Canizaro has made substantial philanthropic donations to Catholic churches,colleges and universities located in New Orleans and on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He was former owner of the New Orleans Breakers football franchise.

She previously held leadership positions at the Eli Lilly and Company and the University of Michigan Medicine. Pescovitz worked at the Indiana University for 21 years.
