Mary Therese "Teche" Sitoy-Cho is a Filipina politician from Cordova,Cebu,Philippines. She previously served as the mayor of Cordova. [1] [2] She is the daughter of former Presidential Adviser on Legislative Affairs Adelino Sitoy,who also previously served as the town's mayor. [3]

The Cebu–Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX),also known as the Cebu–Cordova Bridge and the Third Cebu–Mactan Bridge,is an 8.9-kilometer (5.5 mi) toll bridge expressway in Metro Cebu,Philippines. The bridge connects the South Road Properties in Cebu City in mainland Cebu,and Cordova,on Mactan island. Crossing the Mactan Channel,it is the third road link between Cebu and Mactan islands,and the first between Cebu City and Cordova. It is the longest sea-crossing bridge in the Philippines,surpassing the 2-kilometer (1.2 mi) San Juanico Bridge between Samar and Leyte,as well as Marcelo Fernan Bridge as the longest cable-stayed bridge in the Philippines.

He served as the Presidential Legislative Liaison Office (PLLO) Secretary under the Duterte administration from September 2016 until his death. He was the elected vice mayor of Cordova,a position from which he resigned at the time of his appointment at PLLO. The Duterte administration in tribute upon his death praised him for facilitating the passage of laws,but some lawmakers allegedly blamed his office for failing to provide timely coordination in forwarding a few pieces of legislation such as the bill for security of tenure (anti-endo) and coconut farmer trust fund,a bill which was vetoed and then later signed into law by Duterte. Sitoy reportedly claimed the office was not invited for meetings,and then he admitted that comments from the executive branch of the government on the bills were relayed late.
