Career
Early years
Doane was trained by Steve Oubre at the Coastal Wrestling Academy in Orange, Texas, Rudy Boy Gonzalez and Shawn Michaels at the Texas Wrestling Academy. He then began his professional career by debuting in the Coastal States Wrestling Alliance (CSWA) before moving to Ring of Honor as a member of The Carnage Crew with HC Loc, DeVito, and later Justin Credible. Together, they would wrestle a number of tag matches. He also wrestled in six-man mayhem matches and proved that despite his size, he could still move quickly and keep up with the smaller competitors. At At Our Best, Masada and the rest of The Carnage Crew (accompanied by Dusty Rhodes) won the second ever Scramble Cage in the main event against Special K, who The Carnage Crew had been feuding with. However, The Carnage Crew's celebration with Rhodes was cut short in the locker room as it was discovered that somebody had defecated in the bags of Loc and DeVito.
Two months later, at Generation Next, it was revealed that Masada and his new partner Danny Daniels were responsible for the transgressions. That night, he and Daniels formed a team called The New and Improved Carnage Crew and defeated the original Carnage Crew. This new team left Loc and DeVito wondering why Masada turned on them, and also wondering what Daniels has against them. The Carnage Crew wanted revenge, but DeVito was injured and told Loc to wait for him to return until taking out his anger. During this time, Masada and Daniels looked impressive as a team, however, when DeVito returned the two teams would meet. At Reborn: Completion, The Carnage Crew defeated The New and Improved Carnage Crew for the rights to use the Carnage Crew name in what turned out to be Masada's last match in ROH.
Along with ROH, Masada wrestled for many other companies. He wrestled alongside Jared Steele and Delirious against 3 Live Kru in a dark match for TNA [4] as well against Maven on WWE Heat . [5] Masada also wrestled for IWA Mid-South, Full Impact Pro, and NWA Wildside, where he won the Tag Team championship with Todd Sexton. Masada wrestled in BJW also, feuding with Ryuji Ito.
Deathmatch exploits
On December 25, 2008, Masada had an extremely bloody deathmatch involving razor blades against Jun Kasai in Apache Pro-Wrestling. He wrestled in the IWA Mid-South King of the Deathmatches 2009, winning the tournament in a bloody final which also included Necro Butcher, Thumbtack Jack and Dysfunction. He wrestled in the CZW Tournament of Death: Rewind losing to Thumbtack Jack in the finals. Masada defended the Anarchy Championship Wrestling World Hardcore Championship against Jerry Lynn on August 22, 2010 in Austin Texas. After a nearly two-year reign, Masada lost the title to Matthew Palmer at Guilty by Association 6 in a Scaffold Match. On June 25, 2011, Masada became only the second wrestler (behind Necro Butcher) to win both IWA-MS's "King of the Deathmatches" and CZW's "Tournament of Death". On July 9, 2011, Masada defeated Danny Havoc for the CZW Ultraviolent Underground Championship. On March 10, 2012, Masada won the CZW World Heavyweight Championship after defeating previous champion Scotty Vortekz, D. J. Hyde and Devon Moore in a four-way match. On June 23, 2012, Masada defeated Drake Younger to win the 2012 CZW Tournament of Death. With the victory, Masada became the first wrestler to win the tournament in consecutive years while also being the first wrestler to win the tournament while being the World Heavyweight Champion, even after he won the CZW Tournament of Death: Europe to make him the only wrestler to win the CZW Tournament of Death on 3 back-to-back occasions. On August 10, 2013, Masada lost the CZW World Heavyweight Championship to Drew Gulak, thus ending his historic reign of 518 days, which would be the 5th longest reign in that entire history of the Title. [6] On September 5, 2015, Masada won the GCW's Nick Gage Invitational defeating Corporal Robinson in the first round, defeating Nate Hatred in the Semifinals, and then defeating Danny Havoc in the final. On January 9, 2016, Masada returned to Ring of Honor and unsuccessfully challenged Roderick Strong for the ROH World Television Championship. [7] On November 7, 2020 Masada lost in the finals of GCW NGI 5 to Mance Warner. He defeated AJ Gray in the first round and defeated Shane Mercer in the semifinals.
Xtreme Pro Wrestling
Masada joined the revived Xtreme Pro Wrestling in 2021, competing at their Rebirth event on November 7, 2021. In a tournament to crown a new XPW World Heavyweight Champion, Masada defeated Rhino in the quarterfinals, but lost to Willie Mack in the semifinals. [8] Masada participated in the 16-person King of the Deathmatch tournament at Killafornia on April 9, 2022. Masada defeated Lucky 13, Pagano and Big f'n Joe, but ultimately lost to SHLAK in the final to determine a new XPW King of the Deathmatch Champion. [9] On June 25, 2022, Masada defeated Extremo at Beautiful Disaster. [10] On August 13, 2022, Masada won the XPW World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Reckoning in a three-way dance with Brian Cage and Willie Mack before defending it against the likes of Vampiro, Willie Mack, Drake Younger, and others before losing it to Alex Colon. Jonathan Whitcombe is an English professional wrestler, better known by his ring name Jonny Storm. He has worked for many independent promotions across the United Kingdom, including the Frontier Wrestling Alliance, Real Quality Wrestling and One Pro Wrestling. He has also worked in the United States, for promotions such as Ring of Honor, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, Combat Zone Wrestling, and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, as well as working in Japan.
Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW) is an American independent professional wrestling promotion founded in 1999 by John Zandig. Commonly associated with the 2000s hardcore wrestling genre, early CZW shows showcased a brand of wrestling dubbed by the promotion as "ultraviolence". Early CZW matches featured items such as ladders, tables, steel folding chairs, thumbtacks, barbed wire-covered baseball bats, weed whackers, light tubes, and panes of glass. The promotion filled a niche for hardcore wrestling fans that had been left open by the folding of Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) in 2001.
Matthew Capiccioni is an American professional wrestler, better known by his ring names M-Dogg 20, Matt Cross and Son of Havoc. He currently competes on the independent circuit, most notably Juggalo Championship Wrestling (JCW) where he is the JCW Heavyweight Champion in his first reign. Cross has also worked for prominent promotions such as Ring of Honor, Lucha Underground, Chikara and the short-lived Wrestling Society X. His main gimmick is that of an adherent of the straight edge lifestyle, a culture which he follows in real life. In 2011, Capiccioni joined the cast of the fifth season of WWE Tough Enough.
Anthony DeVito is an American professional wrestler, better known as Tony DeVito or simply DeVito. He is best known for his appearances with Extreme Championship Wrestling as part of Da Baldies and with Ring of Honor as part of the Carnage Crew.
John Corson, better known by the ring name John Zandig, is an American professional wrestler and promoter. He is the founder and former owner of the promotion Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW).
Christopher Scoville is an American professional wrestler, better known by his ring name Jimmy Jacobs. He is best known for his 12-year career in Ring of Honor (ROH), where he is a five-time World Tag Team Champion. He has also worked for WWE, Impact Wrestling, and All Elite Wrestling (AEW) as a writer and producer.
Matthew Knowles is an American professional wrestler, better known by his ring name H. C. Loc. He is perhaps best known for his tenure in Ring of Honor, where he is a one-time ROH World Tag Team Champion with Tony DeVito as one-half of the Carnage Crew.
Benito "Benny" Cuntapay is a Filipino American professional wrestler better known by his ring name, B-Boy. He is best known for his work in the independent circuit, where he worked in promotions like Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG), Jersey All Pro Wrestling (JAPW) or Wrestling Society X (WSX). He is a CZW World Heavyweight Champion, one-time CZW Iron Man Champion and three-times PWG World Tag Team Champion. He also won the CZW 2003 Best of the Best tournament and the PWG 2004 Tango & Cash Invitational tournament with Homicide. He also wrestled as Bael for Lucha Underground, but was killed by Matanza as part of the storyline.
Dylan Keith Summers, better known by the ring name Necro Butcher, is an American professional wrestler. Throughout the years he has worked for various promotions, including Ring of Honor, Full Impact Pro, IWA Mid-South, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, Big Japan Pro Wrestling, and Combat Zone Wrestling. He is known for his willingness to participate in a dangerous mix of deathmatch wrestling styles, as well as his appearance in the 2008 film The Wrestler.
Kevin Canady is an American professional wrestler better known by his ring name Mad Man Pondo. Best known for his hardcore wrestling style, Canady has wrestled for various wrestling promotions, including Independent Wrestling Association Mid-South, Combat Zone Wrestling, Big Japan Pro Wrestling, and Juggalo Championship Wrestling. He is also the owner of IWA East Coast, and is currently employed by Juggalo Championship Wrestling.
Nicholas William Wilson, better known by his ring name Nick Gage, is an American professional wrestler currently wrestling for various promotions on the independent circuit. He is the only man to win the "big three" of American deathmatch tournaments: the CZW Tournament of Death, the IWA Mid-South King of the Deathmatch, and the GCW Tournament of Survival.

Drake Wuertz is an American professional wrestling referee and professional wrestler.
Grant Amos Berkland, better known by his ring name Danny Havoc, was an American professional wrestler. He was best known for his work in Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), and was noted for mixing his technical style with hardcore wrestling.
William C. Welch is an American professional wrestler, better known by his ring name The Messiah.
Joseph Carl Bailey Jr. was an American professional wrestler, better known by his ring name J. C. Bailey. He wrestled for numerous American-based professional wrestling promotions including Combat Zone Wrestling, IWA Mid-South, and IWA East Coast.
Matthew Tremont is an American professional wrestler and promoter, best known for his work in Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW). He is also known for his appearances for his own promotion, Hardcore Hustle Organisation (H2O), as well as for Game Changer Wrestling. He has also worked for IWA Mid-South, IWA Deep-South and IWA East Coast.
Masashi Takeda is a Japanese professional wrestler and mixed martial artist, primarily working for Big Japan Pro Wrestling (BJW) in the Deathmatch division. Takeda also competes as a freelancer for Freedoms and occasionally, All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW).
Jonathan Gresham is an American professional wrestler currently signed to Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). He also makes appearances on the independent circuit. He has previously wrestled for All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and Ring of Honor (ROH), where he is a former ROH World Champion, ROH Pure Champion, and ROH World Tag Team Champion with Jay Lethal.
John Wayne Murdoch is an American professional wrestler. He is best known for his time in IWA Mid-South, Game Changer Wrestling, and ICW No Holds Barred. He is a former ICW NHB American Deathmatch Champion, and a former GCW Tag Team Champion on two occasions, alongside Reed Bentley and Alex Colon. He is also a former GCW Ultraviolent Champion, and won the 2020 IWTV Independent Wrestler of the Year.
