Masjchun Sofwan was born on 7 September 1927 in Blitar,East Java,Indonesia. Sofwan became the governor of Jambi from 1979 to 1989. After graduating from Gadjah Mada University,Sofwan served as the mayor of the Temanggung Regency from 1964 until 1978. He replaced Eddy Sabara as the governor of the province. [1]
He died on 3 October 2015 in Jakarta due to complications with an undisclosed disease. [2]

The archaeological site includes eight excavated temple sanctuaries and covers about 12 square kilometers,stretches 7.5 kilometers along the Batang Hari River,80 menapos or mounds of temple ruins,are not yet restored. It is one of the largest and best-preserved ancient temple complexes in South East Asia.
Warkop were an Indonesian comedy troupe that enjoyed success in radio,films and television over the 1980s and 1990s. Assembled in Jakarta on 1976 under Prambors Rasisonia management,they initially went by the name Warkop Prambors.
