The Upper Derwent Valley is an area of the Peak District National Park in England. It largely lies in Derbyshire, but its north eastern area lies in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Its most significant features are the Derwent Dams, Ladybower, Derwent and Howden, which form Ladybower Reservoir, Derwent Reservoir and Howden Reservoir respectively.
The Dark Peak is the higher and wilder part of the Peak District in England, mostly forming the northern section but also extending south into its eastern and western margins. It is currently represented by three Liberal Democrat councillors. It is located in the southwestern part of the city and covers an area of 26.3 km2. The population of this ward in 2001 was 16,404 people in 7,037 households. Dore and Totley ward is one of the five wards that make up the Sheffield Hallam Parliamentary constituency. The population of Dore and Totley is 16,740 (2011) with 7,334 Households.
Holme Moss is high moorland on the border between the Holme Valley district of Kirklees in West Yorkshire and the High Peak district of Derbyshire in England. Historically on the boundary between the West Riding of Yorkshire and Cheshire, it is just inside the boundary of the Peak District National Park. The A6024 road between Holmfirth and Longdendale crosses the moor near its highest point close to Holme Moss transmitting station's prominent mast.

Hob Hurst's House is a Bronze Age barrow on Beeley Moor near Bakewell in Derbyshire. It is unique in that instead of the normal round shape, Hob Hurst's barrow is rectangular. Originally made with 13 stones, only five remain today.
Stanton in Peak is a village in the Derbyshire Dales district of Derbyshire, It is about seven miles north-west of Matlock, on the north side of Stanton Moor, from Birchover. The name of the civil parish is Stanton with a population taken at the 2011 census of 365. There is a fine 19th century Parish Church, and many fine stone houses, with mullion windows. There is also a stately home, Stanton Park, a combination of the English Classical style, and later Palladian alterations, which is a private house.
Barrow Hill railway station is a former railway station in the village of Barrow Hill in northern Derbyshire, England.
Grangemill is a village in the English county of Derbyshire. The hamlet is made up of a cluster of houses, a farm and a pub called the Hollybush. There is a former cheese factory in the village, and the workings of this are still on display. The population as taken at the 2011 Census is included in the civil parish of Aldwark, Derbyshire, The majority of the settlement is within the Ivonbrook Grange parish, however Grangemill lies at the crossroads of the A5012 and B5056 roads which is within Brassington parish. It is on the south-eastern boundary of the Peak District National Park. The Limestone Way long-distance bridleway passes through Grangemill. The Peak District Boundary Walk also runs through the village.
Bentinck is a village in Derbyshire, England. Located north of Bolsover, it consists of two rows of terrace houses, a park and some garages. Bentinck is near Shuttlewood and Stanfree and located on Woodthorpe Road to Mastin Moor. It is located near two motorway junctions of the M1, J29a and J30. It is also close to Chesterfield and the city of Sheffield. The main employer of the village up until a few years ago was Coalite, and before that the mining industry.

The Clowne Branch is a disused railway line in north eastern Derbyshire, England. Which runs from Creswell to Staveley. Historically it ran to Chesterfield. It is now in use as a greenway.
Harthill Moor is a small upland area in the Derbyshire Peak District of central and northern England, lying between Matlock and Bakewell near the villages of Birchover and Elton. The moor is within the southern portion of Harthill civil parish. Its highest point is 272 metres (892 ft) above sea level. The River Bradford flows along the northern edge of the moor past Youlgreave and into the River Lathkill at Alport. Harthill Moor is a rich prehistoric landscape with several protected Scheduled Ancient Monuments.
Beeley Moor is a small gritstone upland area in the Derbyshire Peak District of central and northern England, near the villages of Beeley and Baslow. Its highest point is 371 metres (1,217 ft) above sea level.
Eyam Moor is a plateau-topped hill between the villages of Eyam and Hathersage in Derbyshire, in the Peak District of England. The summit of Sir William Hill is 429 metres (1,407 ft) above sea level.
Bradwell Moor is a moorland hill above the village of Bradwell, Derbyshire in the Peak District. The summit is 471 metres (1,545 ft) above sea level.
Taddington Moor is a limestone hill between the villages of Taddington, Flagg and Chelmorton in the Derbyshire Peak District. The moor is an upland farming landscape. The summit at Sough Top is 438 metres (1,437 ft) above sea level.
The Borough of Chesterfield is a local government borough in Derbyshire, England. It is named after its main settlement of Chesterfield.
