Matador Soccer Field is a 1,550 seat soccer stadium on the campus of California State University, Northridge in Northridge, California.

It is currently the home to the Cal State Northridge Matadors men's soccer and Cal State Northridge Matadors women's soccer teams.

Matador Soccer Field was host to a 2005 NCAA Men's Division I Soccer Championship match between Big West Conference foe UC Santa Barbara. The men's soccer team was victorious, scoring their first ever NCAA Tournament victory in a 3-2 decision. [1]

Matador Field is a baseball venue located on the campus of Cal State Northridge in Northridge, California, United States. It is home to the Cal State Northridge Matadors baseball team, a member of the Division I Big West Conference. The venue was opened on March 4, 1961, with the Matadors losing 10-8 to Claremont-Mudd. The facility has a capacity of 1,200.

The 2012–13 Cal State Northridge Matadors men's basketball team represented California State University, Northridge during the 2012–13 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Matadors, led by 17th year head coach Bobby Braswell, played their home games at the Matadome and were members of the Big West Conference. They finished the season 14–17, 5–13 in Big West play to finish in ninth place. They failed to qualify for the Big West Tournament.

UC Irvine Anteaters mens soccer

The UC Irvine Anteaters men's soccer program represents the University of California, Irvine in all NCAA Division I men's college soccer competitions. Founded in 1984, the Anteaters compete in the Big West Conference. The Anteaters are coached by Yossi Raz, who has coached the team since 2017 after previously coaching the Cal Poly Pomona Broncos and serving as an assistant for the Cal State Northridge Matadors. UC Irvine plays their home matches at Anteater Stadium.

The three-match tournament took place at Matador Soccer Field in Northridge, California. The four-team single-elimination tournament consisted of two rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The defending champions were the Long Beach State 49ers, but they failed to qualify for the 2017 tournament. The Cal State Fullerton Titans won the title by virtue of winning the penalty shoot-out tiebreaking procedure following a tie with the Cal State Northridge Matadors in the final. This was the seventh Big West tournament title for the Cal State Fullerton program and the fifth for head coach Demian Brown.

The 2017–18 Cal State Northridge Matadors women's basketball team represents California State University, Northridge during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Matadors, led by eighth year head coach Jason Flowers, play their home games at the Matadome as members of the Big West Conference. They finished the season 19–16, 8–8 in Big West play to finish in fifth place. They won the Big Women's Tournament to earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Women's Tournament where they lost to Notre Dame in the first round.

The defending champions were the Long Beach State 49ers, but they failed to qualify for the 2019 tournament. The Cal State Fullerton Titans won the title by beating the Cal State Northridge Matadors 2–0 in the final. This was the eighth Big West tournament title for the Cal State Fullerton program and the sixth for head coach Demian Brown.
