The Matchworld Cup was an annual international exhibition football club competition hosted by the United Arab Emirates since 2011 till 2013. [1] The winners were Al-Hilal in 2011, [1] Zenit St. Petersburg in 2012, [1] Shakhtar Donetsk in 2013. [2]

Contents

The 2011 and 2012 competitions were held in Dubai, and the 2013 competition was held in Abu Dhabi's Zayed Sports City Stadium. [3] The competition is organised by Matchworld Group Switzerland, Matchworld Football SA Sports Management Saudi Arabia, and Sportlive Russia. [4] [5]

The Étoile Sportive du Sahel, is a sports club from Sousse in the Sahel region of Tunisia, known primarily for its football and basketball team. The club also has sections for handball, volleyball, judo and wrestling. ESS was founded on 11 May 1925 after a general meeting under the chairmanship of Chedly Boujemla, Ali Laârbi and Ahmed Zaklaoui, at the headquarters of the Association of the ancient French-Arab School in Laroussi Zarouk Street, in the heart of the old town of Sousse. The aim of the meeting was to establish a sports education society. The Tunisian flag was chosen in the selection of the colors of the team. The red shirt with the star and the white shorts. The French colonial authorities prevented the use of these colors, but with the insistence of the team leaders they prevailed and in the latter they played this kit. In English the name means SportStar of the Sahel (coast)

The Pakhtakor Central Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. It is one of the main stadiums in Uzbekistan, located in the center of Tashkent, in Shaykhantahur District. The stadium has a capacity of 35,000 fans. It is the home stadium of Pakhtakor FC. In addition, the Uzbekistan national football team played some matches at the stadium. The 2011–12 FC Shakhtar Donetsk season saw the club complete a domestic double, winning their seventh Ukrainian Premier League and eight Ukrainian Cup whilst losing the Ukrainian Super Cup to FC Dynamo Kyiv. Shakhtar also competed in the UEFA Champions League, where they finished fourth in their group, and were eliminated from the competition.

Bunyodkor failed to defend their title, finish the season in 4th position. Bunyodkor won the Uzbekistan Super Cup, reached the Round of 16 in the AFC Champions League, where they were defeated by Al-Hilal, and the final of the Uzbekistan Cup.

The 2014–15 season is Zamalek Sports Club 104th season of football since founded in 1911, 59th consecutive season in the Egyptian Premier League. The club will also play in the CAF Confederation Cup, after finishing 3rd in the 2013–14 Egyptian Premier League and winning the 2014 Egypt Cup.

The 2018–19 Arab Club Champions Cup, officially named the 2018–19 Zayed Champions Cup to mark 100 years since the birth of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, was the 28th season of the Arab Club Champions Cup, the Arab world's club football tournament organised by UAFA, and the first season since it was renamed from the Arab Club Championship to the Arab Club Champions Cup.

The 2018–19 CAF Confederation Cup knockout stage will be played from 7 April to 26 May 2019. A total of eight teams will compete in the knockout stage to decide the champions of the 2018–19 CAF Confederation Cup.
