Marwar Mathania is a village in Jodhpur district of Rajasthan, India.

Transportation

Mathania is connected to the city of Jodhpur via the Jodhpur-Phalodi state highway and other public transportation services, such as the train service constructed during British rule. Jodhpur Junction railway station is 38 km to the south and Osiyan Railway Station [1] serves the area north of Marwar Mathania.[ citation needed ] Train connections include: the Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Jaisalmer Express; Jodhpur-Jaisalmer Express and Jodhpur-Jaisalmer Passenger.[ citation needed ]

Mathania is 38 km away from Jodhpur Airport. The bus stand offers frequent buses and private jeeps are available for rent.

Infrastructure

The village is divided into several neighborhoods: Chopasani Charanan; Tinwari; Ummed nagar; Rampura; Kotra; Rajasthani; Bhaiser and Jud. The village has several government offices, such as: a gram panchayat; a patwar bhawan; a post office; a police station; an electric board and the BSNL telephone exchange. Mathania also has a hospital, the 'Government General Hospital' and a clinic, the 'Government Ayurveda Dispensary'. [2]

Mathania has several schools, including the Senior Higher Secondary School, Girls Sr. Secondary School, Government Boys and Girls Middle Schools, Param Tejasvi Maharana Pratap School, Mahadev Adarsh Vidhya Mandir Mathania School, [3] Mangal Public School and Baba Ramdev School Rajasthani.

The Senior Higher Secondary School is affiliated with the Rajasthan Education Board and has a large campus. The school offers two main streams of education; arts, and sciences (including mathematics, chemistry and physics). The school has its own computer laboratory.

Beawar is a city in Beawar district of Rajasthan, India. Beawar was the financial capital of Merwara state of Rajputana. As of 2011, the population of Beawar is 342,935. It is located 70 kilometres from Ajmer and 184 kilometres (114 mi)southwest of the state capital Jaipur, amidst Aravali hills. The city used to be a major center for trade, especially in raw cotton, and used to have cotton presses and the Krishna cotton mills. Currently, major industries include mineral-based units, machine-based units, machine tools and accessories, pre-stressed concrete pipes, plastic products, textiles, wooden furniture and asbestos cement pipes. Beawar is the largest producer of cement in northern India and home to Shree Cement. It is situated in a mineral-rich region having reserves of feldspar, quartz, asbestos, soapstone, magnesite, calcite, limestone, mica, emerald, granite, and masonry stone. Reserves of barytes, fluorite, wollastonite and vermiculite have also been found. Nearest airports are Jodhpur (145 km), Kishangarh and Jaipur (190 km). It is also connected by RSRTC operated buses to all parts of Rajasthan, and neighboring Delhi NCR, Ahmedabad (Gujarat), Gwalior. It also has railway connectivity with Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmadabad, Bangalore (bi-weekly), Haridwar, Dehradun (weekly), Bareilly and Muzzafarpur.
