Having started life with an online newsletter and event promotion in 2001, it has since expanded into various endeavours including a monthly magazine, various websites, a record label, video production, and a weekly radio show.

28 Costumes, also known as the Cossies, are a Liverpool pop band. They signed to Spank Records in late 2003 and released four singles and an album with the label. Their album, The Fake Death Experience was reviewed positively in, amongst other publications, The Independent and Artrocker magazine. The band have since released the EP Electrical Fever on Invicta Hi Fi Records, and self-released the single "Erika" / "Death Mask".
Antlered Man is a four-piece alternative rock group from London, England. The band members had previously performed as Metro Riots before changing their band name and style in 2009.
The Dykeenies are a Scottish indie rock band from Cumbernauld, formed in 2005. The group consists of brothers Brian Henderson and Andrew Henderson, along with Steven Ramsay and John Kerr. Since their formation, they have released one studio album, Nothing Means Everything, accompanied by three singles. After a worldwide tour, the band began work on their second album, which was released in October 2011. They broke up in January 2012, before re-forming for two performances in 2017. The Dykeenies released their EP 'I Wanted To Show Her All The Beautiful Things in the World' on 11 May 2018. The title of the 2018 EP was taken from Bret Ellis-Easton's 'American Psycho'.
Hadouken! were a British band formed in London in 2006 by singer, songwriter and producer James Smith and synth player Alice Spooner along with guitarist Daniel "Pilau" Rice, bassist Christopher Purcell and drummer Nick Rice. The band took its name from the special attack of the same name from the Street Fighter video game series. It was in Leeds that Hadouken! began their own record label, Surface Noise Records.

Hatcham Social are an English indie pop band. The group first met and formed in New Cross, London in 2006 and have since released a string of singles on indie labels, followed by three studio albums. With the debut album, they made headway in the mainstream media with The Guardian describing them as "irrestistible" and Tim Burgess calling them "a wonderful pop group with the world's coolest drummer."
The Oxfam Glamour Models are a noise rock band from Middlesbrough in the North East of England. They signed to Marquis Cha Cha records in 2006 but split in 2007. As of August 2011 they are once again active. Members include Emmett (Vocals), Paul Dye (Guitar), Peachy (Guitar)(2004–2007) and Ryan Pilot (Drums). As of 2012 Oli Heffernan has been playing bass for the band.
The Mighty Roars are an English three piece alternative rock band from London signed to One Little Indian Records. The group won Xfm's Unsigned band competition in 2005 and released their debut album, Swine & Cockerel in 2007.
The Chapman Family were an English indie rock band from Stockton-on-Tees, that formed in 2006. The band's final lineup consisted of Kingsley Chapman, Pop Chapman, Owen Chapman, Kevin James Chapman and Scott Chapman. The band's debut album Burn Your Town was released on 7 March 2011. They were notably part of the "10 Tips for 2009" shortlist published by NME.

Deep Cut are a London-based rock group, featuring former Revolver singer/guitarist Mat Flint, Emma Bailey (vocals), Simon Flint, Ian Button (drums) and Pad Bailey (guitar). Mat Flint also played bass guitar for Death In Vegas 1996–2005, along with Ian Button, who played guitar.
Pete and the Pirates were an English indie rock band from Reading, Berkshire, England. The band consisted of Thomas Sanders (vocals), Peter Hefferan, David Thorpe (guitar), Peter Cattermoul (bass) and Jonny Sanders (drums).
Civil Civic are an instrumental post-punk/electronic rock band consisting of two Australian musicians, Aaron Cupples and Benjamin Green, formed in 2009. Aaron currently resides in London, UK, and Benjamin lives in Barcelona, Spain. They employ a drum machine which is referred to as the third member of the band and is called 'The Box'. Their sound has been compared with bands such as Gang Of Four, The Pixies, My Bloody Valentine, The Cure, The Smiths, Sonic Youth and Joy Division. Their live shows have been described as "a perfectly synchronised mesh of electro pop and cheek-vibrating space noise" with a "stage presence and lust for playing that exhilarates in the extreme".
