The Carolina Panthers are a professional American football team based in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Panthers compete in the National Football League (NFL), as a member of the National Football Conference (NFC) South division. The team is headquartered in Bank of America Stadium in Uptown Charlotte, which also serves as the team's home field. The Panthers are supported throughout the Carolinas; although the team has played its home games in Charlotte since 1996, it played its home games at Memorial Stadium in Clemson, South Carolina, during its first season in 1995.
Shaun Edward Alexander is an American former professional football player who was a running back for the Seattle Seahawks and Washington Redskins of the National Football League (NFL). John David Kasay is an American former professional football player who was a kicker for 21 seasons in the National Football League (NFL), primarily with the Carolina Panthers. He played college football for the Georgia Bulldogs and was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the fourth round of the 1991 NFL draft. Kasay left the Seahawks in 1995 to sign with the expansion Panthers, whom he was a member of for 16 seasons. He became the Panthers' all-time leading scorer, while also earning Pro Bowl honors during the 1996 season and making a Super Bowl appearance in Super Bowl XXXVIII. Retiring after one season with the New Orleans Saints, Kasay was one of the last remaining active members of the inaugural Panthers team.

Deon D'Marquis Grant is an American former professional football player who was a safety for 12 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Tennessee Volunteers football, was a member of Tennessee's national championship team and earned All-American honors. He was selected by the Carolina Panthers in the second round of the 2000 NFL draft, and also played professionally for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Seattle Seahawks and New York Giants of the NFL. Michael James Wahle is an American former professional football player who was a guard for 11 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Navy Midshipmen. He was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the second round of the 1998 NFL Supplemental Draft. A Pro Bowl selection in 2005, Wahle also played for the Carolina Panthers and Seattle Seahawks.
DeAndre James "D. J." Hackett is a former American football wide receiver. He was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the fifth round of the 2004 NFL draft. He played college football at Colorado.
Kevin Kinte Bentley is a former American football linebacker who played in the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the fourth round of the 2002 NFL draft. Marquand Alexander Manuel is an American football coach and former safety who is the Safeties coach for the New York Jets of the National Football League (NFL). He previously served as the defensive coordinator for the Atlanta Falcons and as an assistant coach for the Seattle Seahawks. After playing college football for the University of Florida, he was selected in the sixth round of the 2002 NFL draft. He played for eight seasons in the NFL for the Cincinnati Bengals, Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers, Carolina Panthers, Denver Broncos, and Detroit Lions. He was the defensive coordinator for the Atlanta Falcons from 2017 to 2018.
Damione Ramon Lewis is an American football coach and former player who is currently the defensive line coach for the University of Colorado. He played professionally as a defensive end in the National Football League (NFL). Lewis played college football for the Miami Hurricanes before being selected by the St. Louis Rams in the first round of the 2001 NFL draft. He also played in the NFL for the Carolina Panthers, New England Patriots, and Houston Texans. After his playing career, he became a defensive assistant for the Seattle Seahawks.

He also was a member of the Seattle Seahawks, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Omaha Nighthawks, New York Giants, and Carolina Panthers.
Gregory Walter Olsen is an American football sportscaster and former tight end who played for 14 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Miami Hurricanes and was selected by the Chicago Bears in the first round of the 2007 NFL draft. Olsen played most of his career for the Carolina Panthers, with whom he made three Pro Bowls, and became the first tight end in NFL history to record three consecutive seasons with at least 1,000 receiving yards. Olsen played his final season with the Seattle Seahawks in 2020. Following his retirement Olsen joined Fox as a sportscaster and is formerly the lead color commentator for the NFL on Fox.
Thomas Ray Williams is a former American football linebacker. He was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the fifth round of the 2008 NFL draft. He played college football at Southern California. Williams has been a member of the Seattle Seahawks, New England Patriots, Buffalo Bills, Carolina Panthers, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In 2011, he suffered a neck injury that ended his season. The next year, the same injury forced him to retire from his football career.
Matthew Lytle is a former American football quarterback of the National Football League (NFL). He was signed by the Seattle Seahawks as a free agent in 2000. He played college football at Pittsburgh.
