Matt Miller (born May 1, 1991) is an American football coach who is currently the wide receivers coach at Boise State University. He was previously the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Montana State University.
A native of Helena, Montana, Miller was a three-sport star at Capital High School. His athleticism caught the attention of then-Arkansas head coach Bobby Petrino, a Capital High alumni and former teammate of Miller's father. [1] A highly touted recruit, he received offers to play college football from schools such as Oregon, Oregon State, and Boise State and also received offers to play college basketball at Montana and Montana State. [2] He committed to playing college football at Boise State on Christmas Day in 2009. [3]
At Boise State, Miller redshirted the 2010 season after tearing an Achilles tendon in fall camp. [4] As a redshirt freshman, Miller set single season freshman records for the program including receptions (62), receiving yards (679), and receiving touchdowns (9) en route to freshman All-America honors in 2011. [5] By the time his college career ended in 2014, Miller was Boise State's career leader in receptions and second all-time in receiving yards. [6] Miller had a professional tryout with the Denver Broncos before injuries ended his playing career. [7]
After his playing career ended, Miller spent 2015 at Boise State as an offensive quality control coach. He was hired as the receivers coach at Montana State in 2016 and added the title of recruiting coordinator in 2017. [8] He was promoted to offensive coordinator and reassigned to quarterbacks coach midway through the 2018 season, and held that role for the 2019 season as well. [9]
Miller returned to his alma mater Boise State in 2020 as their wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator. [10]
Miller is married to the former Sarah Baugh, a former standout volleyball player at Boise State. [11]
Ashley Jovon Lelie is an American former professional football player who was a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Hawaii Warriors and was selected by the Denver Broncos in the first round of the 2002 NFL draft with the 19th overall pick.

The Montana State Bobcats football program competes in the Big Sky Conference of the NCAA's Division I Football Championship Subdivision for Montana State University. The program began in 1897 and has won three national championships. It is the only college football program in the nation to win national championships on three different levels of competition, NAIA, NCAA Division II, and NCAA Division I-AA. Through the 2022 season, the Bobcats had played in 1,049 games with an all-time record of 525–492–32.
Kellen Christopher Moore is an American professional football coach and former quarterback who is the offensive coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Boise State Broncos, where he set the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) record for quarterback wins. Moore spent the majority of his professional career from 2012 to 2017 as a backup, only seeing playing time with the Dallas Cowboys in 2015. After retiring as a player, Moore began a coaching career and became the Eagles' offensive coordinator in 2024.
Brent Richard Pease is an American football coach and former player. He was hired in 2018 at the University of Montana as the Offensive coordinator and quarterback coach. He was previously the offensive coordinator at UTEP, the wide receivers coach at the University of Washington and the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the University of Florida.
Jonathan Beasley is an American football coach and former player. He played college football as a quarterback for the Kansas State Wildcats football team in 1999 and 2000. He currently serves as co-offensive coordinator, running backs coach, and tight ends coach at Tarleton State University.

The Vandals, led by first-year head coach Dennis Erickson, were members of the Big Sky Conference and played their home games at the Kibbie Dome, an indoor facility on campus in Moscow, Idaho.
Nate Potter is an American football coach and former player who is currently the co-offensive coordinator and tight ends coach for the Boise State Broncos. He played college football as an offensive tackle also for the Broncos, where he was recognized as a consensus All-American. He was selected in the seventh round of the 2012 NFL draft by the Arizona Cardinals. Potter appeared in 21 games over two seasons before the Cardinals released him at the end of the 2014 preseason, after which he began his college coaching career.
Bryan Dale Harsin is an American college football coach. He is the offensive coordinator at California. He was the head coach at Auburn Tigers from 2021–2022. Prior to coaching at Auburn, he coached the Boise State University Broncos from the 2014 season through the 2020 season where he posted a 69–19 overall record. He began his head coaching career at Arkansas State University for the 2013 season. Harsin was the co-offensive coordinator at the University of Texas for two seasons. Before leaving for Texas in 2011, Harsin was an assistant at Boise State for 10 seasons, the last five as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.
Paul Vincent Petrino is an American football coach. He is the wide receivers coach for the University of South Alabama, a position he has held since 2024. He was previously the head coach at the University of Idaho in Moscow, with an overall record of 34–66 (.340) over nine seasons.

Brett Robert Rypien is an American professional football quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Boise State Broncos and signed with the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent in 2019, and has also been a member of the Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks, and New York Jets. He is the nephew of NFL quarterback Mark Rypien and the first cousin of former National Hockey League (NFL) player Rick Rypien.
