Matthew John Dennington (born 16 October 1982) is a South African born former professional cricketer. He was born in Durban but holds a European passport. [1] He was educated at Northwood School in Durban,Varsity College and the University of South Africa. He played for Durban Cricket Club and KwaZulu-Natal B and was a member of the Shell SA Academy in 2002 before leaving South Africa to play cricket in England. [1] [2]
Dennington played for Orpington in the Kent Cricket League in 2002 and appeared for Kent County Cricket Club's Second XI during the season. [3] [4] He made a List A cricket appearance for the Kent Cricket Board in the 2003 Cheltenham &Gloucester Trophy before being contracted by Kent and playing for the county side in the National League and Twenty20 Cup the same year. Playing as an all-rounder,he went on to make his first-class cricket debut for Kent in April 2004 against Oxford University at The University Parks. [4] After appearing in seven first-class and 10 List A matches for Kent in 2004 he was retained for the 2005 season. His appearances for the county reduced in 2005 and in 2006 he played in only one first-class and one List A match and at the end of the season he was released by Kent. [1] [4] [5]
In the Kent Cricket League Dennington played for St Lawrence and Highland Court during his time with Kent. He then moved to Bromley Cricket Club and played there until the end of the 2012 season. During 2012 he also played in the Leinster Senior League for Dublin University Cricket Club. [4]
Matthew John Banes is a former English professional cricketer. Banes played first-class cricket for Durham University and Kent County Cricket Club between 1999 and 2003. He batted right-handed and bowled right-arm medium pace.

Goodman was born in Farnborough in south-east London and attended St Olave's Grammar School in Orpington.
Matthew Thomas Coles is an English former professional cricketer. He played as a bowling all-rounder who bowled right-arm fast-medium pace and batted left-handed. He most recently was contracted to Essex County Cricket Club and has represented the England Lions cricket team. Coles played for Kent for two spells either side of spending 18 months at Hampshire in 2014. In 2016 he joined Bangladesh Premier League side Dhaka Dynamites for part of their season.

Sean Robert Dickson is an English-South African cricketer who plays as a right-handed top-order batter. Dickson was born in Johannesburg and made his first-class debut in South Africa before signing for Kent in July 2015,qualifying as a non-overseas player due to his British mother and UK passport. Dickson scored 318 for Kent in July 2017,the county's second highest individual score and making him one of only two men to have made a triple-century for Kent.
In 2016,Kent County Cricket Club competed in Division Two of the County Championship,the Royal London One-Day Cup and the NatWest t20 Blast. The season was the fifth,and last,in charge for head coach Jimmy Adams and the first for new club captain Sam Northeast,who took over from Robert Key at the end of the 2015 season,having captained the side on the field for much of the season.
In 2017,Kent County Cricket Club competed in Division Two of the County Championship,the Royal London One-Day Cup and the NatWest t20 Blast. In addition,before the start of the English cricket season,Kent competed in the 2016–17 Regional Super50,the List A competition of the West Indian domestic season. This was the first time that any English county had competed in an overseas domestic competition. The invitation to take part in the tournament was largely due to the influence of former West Indian captain Jimmy Adams who had been Kent's Head Coach until September 2016.

The county finished second in Division Two of the Championship and were promoted to Division One for the 2019 season. They reached the final of the One-Day Cup. losing to Hampshire at Lord's,and the quarter-final stage of the t20 Blast. In addition,before the start of the English cricket season,Kent competed in the 2017–18 Regional Super50,the List A competition of the West Indies domestic season,reaching the semi-final stage. This was the second time that Kent have competed in the competition,having played in the 2016–17 competition.
The 2018 English cricket season ran between 1 April and 27 September 2018 and was the 119th in which the County Championship has been an official competition. It featured first-class,one-day and Twenty20 cricket competitions throughout England and Wales.
In 2019 Kent County Cricket Club competed in Division One of the County Championship after gaining promotion in the 2018 season,the Royal London One-Day Cup and the 2019 t20 Blast.

He signed his first professional contract with Kent County Cricket Club in October 2018,having joined the county club at age 10,played for them at age-group levels and been a member of the club's academy programme,winning the John Aitken Gray award as the best academy scholar in 2018.
