Matthew Daniel O'Connor (born 26 February 1971) is male British former competitive swimmer.
O'Connor competed in the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, and finished 32nd overall after swimming in the preliminary heats of the men's 200-metre backstroke. [1] He represented England in the 100 metres and 200 metres backstroke, at the 1990 Commonwealth Games in Auckland, New Zealand. [3] Four years later he represented England again in the same events at the 1994 Commonwealth Games. [4]
O'Connor set the British national record in the 200-meter backstroke with a time of 2:02.88. At the British National meet he placed second in both the 100 meter and 200 meter backstroke events. While competing collegiately at the University of Georgia (UGA) from 1991 to 1994, O'Connor set the Georgia Bulldogs swimming and diving team record at the time in the 200-yard backstroke (1:47.43). Matthew John Cowdrey is an Australian politician and Paralympic swimmer. He presently holds numerous world records. He has a congenital amputation of his left arm; it stops just below the elbow. Cowdrey competed at the 2004 Paralympic Games, 2006 Commonwealth Games, 2008 Paralympic Games, 2010 Commonwealth Games, and the 2012 Paralympic Games. After the 2012 London Games, he is the most successful Australian Paralympian, having won thirteen Paralympic gold medals and twenty three Paralympic medals in total. On 10 February 2015, Cowdrey announced his retirement from swimming.
Andrew David Jameson is an English sports commentator and former competitive swimmer. Active as an elite swimmer in the mid to late 1980s he represented Great Britain in two consecutive Summer Olympics, the FINA World Championships, LEN European Championships, as well as England in the Commonwealth Games. At his peak between 1986 and 1988 he won the gold medal in 100 metre butterfly at the 1986 Commonwealth Games, the 1987 European Aquatics Championships and the 1987 Summer Universiade, as well as the 100 metre freestyle gold at the same Universiade. Winning the bronze medal at the 1986 World Aquatics Championships, Jameson's career in the pool culminated in winning the bronze medal in the 1988 Summer Olympics, his second and final Olympic Games.

A specialist in the 200 metres individual medley, she is the 2014 and 2018 Commonwealth Games champion in the event, and has won silver medals in the same event at the 2016 Summer Olympics, the 2015 World Aquatics Championships, 2016 European Aquatics Championships, the 2014 World Short-Course Championships and the 2013 and 2015 European Short Course Championships – on each occasion behind World and Olympic champion Katinka Hosszú. With six Commonwealth Games medals in total from 2014, O'Connor was England's most decorated athlete at those Games.

She has won gold in the Commonwealth Games and European Championships. She currently represents Energy Standard in the International Swimming League.

Calum George Jarvis is a Welsh competitive swimmer who has represented Great Britain in World Championships and the Olympics, and Wales in the Commonwealth Games. Jarvis competes primarily in freestyle and backstroke events. In 2014, he competed at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow as part of the Welsh team, winning the bronze medal in the 200m freestyle.
