The National Counties,known as the Minor Counties before 2020,are the cricketing counties of England and Wales that do not have first-class status. The game is administered by the National Counties Cricket Association (NCCA),which comes under the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). There are currently twenty teams in National Counties cricket:nineteen representing historic counties of England,plus the Wales National County Cricket Club.

Steven John Malone is an English former first-class cricketer and cricket umpire. A journeyman county cricketer,he played at first-class level for Essex,Hampshire,and Glamorgan. He played predominantly for Hampshire as a right-arm fast-medium bowler,taking 103 wickets from 46 first-class matches and 99 wickets from 65 matches List A one-day matches. After the end of his first-class career,he played Minor Counties Cricket and later became a first-class umpire.
Brunton Memorial Ground is a cricket ground at Radlett in Hertfordshire. The ground is the home of Radlett Cricket Club and,since 2013,has been used as an outground by Middlesex County Cricket Club. It was used occasionally by Hertfordshire County Cricket Club between 1975 and 2008 for Minor Counties Championship matches.
Ian Neale Blanchett is an Australian born English cricketer. Blanchett was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm fast-medium. He was born in Melbourne,Victoria.
Raymond Reginald 'Ray' Bailey is an English former cricketer and footballer. He was born in Bedford,Bedfordshire,where he was educated and proved himself a sporting all rounder by captaining his school rugby team and playing in goal for the Bedfordshire Schools football team.
Timothy John Taylor is a former English cricketer. Taylor was a right-handed batsman who bowled slow left-arm orthodox. He was born in Romiley,Cheshire.
Michael David Tudor Roberts is an English cricketer.
Recordo Olton Gordon is a Jamaican–born English cricketer. Gordon is a right-handed batsman who bowls right-arm fast-medium. He was born at St. Elizabeth's,Jamaica.
Thomas Michael Nugent is an English former cricketer who played for Hampshire in List A cricket and had an extensive career with Berkshire in minor counties cricket.

The 2019 Marylebone Cricket Club University Matches were a series of cricket matches that were played between the eighteen County Championship teams and the six Marylebone Cricket Club University teams (MCCU) of England and Wales. The first two rounds of fixtures were classed as first-class matches. Each county side played one fixture against an MCCU side ahead of the start of the 2019 County Championship.
