Matti Tauno Antero Repo (born 7 March 1959) is a Finnish prelate who has been bishop of the Diocese of Tampere since 2008.
Repo was born in Mikkeli on 7 March 1959. He was ordained a priest in 1985 and served as a pastor of the parish of Tampere between 1985–2002. He graduated with a Licentiate of Theology in 1992 with his doctoral thesis titled Uskon lahja vai rakkauden päämäärä? meaning The gift of Faith or the purpose of love? He also studied Johann Arndt's idea of justification and union at the University of Helsinki in 1997. He became secretary of the Theological Affairs Department of the Foreign Affairs Department of the Church Administration in 2002. He was elected bishop on 26 March 2008.

Tampere is a city in the Pirkanmaa region, located in the western part of Finland. Tampere is the most populous inland city in the Nordic countries; it has a population of 244,029 with the urban area holding 341,696 people and the metropolitan area, also known as the Tampere sub-region, holding 393,941 inhabitants in an area of 4,970 km2 (1,920 sq mi). Tampere University of Technology (TUT) was Finland's second-largest university in engineering sciences. The university was located in Hervanta, a suburb of Tampere. It was merged with the University of Tampere to create the new Tampere University on 1 January 2019.
Matti Ensio Nykänen was a Finnish ski jumper who competed from 1981 to 1991. Widely considered to be the greatest male ski jumper of all time, he won five Winter Olympic medals, nine World Championship medals, and 22 Finnish Championship medals. Most notably, he won three gold medals at the 1988 Winter Olympics, becoming, along with Yvonne van Gennip of the Netherlands, the most medaled athlete that winter.

Sir Paul Alfred Reeves,, CF was a New Zealand clergyman and civil servant, serving as Archbishop and Primate of New Zealand from 1980 to 1985 and 15th Governor-General of New Zealand from 20 November 1985 to 20 November 1990.
