Maurizio Cattelan is an Italian artist. Known primarily for his hyperrealistic sculptures and installations, Cattelan's practice also includes curating and publishing. His satirical approach to art has resulted in him being frequently labelled as a joker or prankster of the art world. Self-taught as an artist, Cattelan has exhibited internationally in museums and Biennials. In 2011 the Guggenheim Museum, New York presented a retrospective of his work. Some of Cattelan's better-known works include America, consisting of a solid gold toilet; La Nona Ora, a sculpture depicting a fallen Pope who has been hit by a meteorite; and Comedian, a fresh banana duct-taped to a wall.
Maurizio Gucci (26 September 1948 – 27 March 1995) was an Italian businessman and the one-time head of the Gucci fashion house. He was the son of actor Rodolfo Gucci, and grandson of the company's founder Guccio Gucci. On the 27th of March 1995 he was assassinated. The murder at gunpoint was allegedly ordered by his ex-wife Patrizia Reggiani.

David Osit is an American filmmaker best known as one of the directors, with Malika Zouhali-Worrall, of the 2015 documentary Thank You for Playing. Osit and Zouhali-Worrall also directed "Games You Can't Win," a short film inspired by the feature for The New York Times Op-Docs. Nigerian Prince is a 2018 Nigerian-American bilingual suspense thriller drama film written and directed by New York based Nigerian-American Faraday Okoro in his feature film directorial debut. The film is based on a stock term referring to a type of advance-fee scam. The film stars newcomers Antonio J. Bell and Chinaza Uche in the main lead roles while Tina Mba, Bimbo Manuel, Ebbe Bassey and Dean Cameron in the supporting roles. The film was made as a part of the inaugural AT&T Presents: Untold Stories program as it entered the competition with the intention of securing financial backing and potential distribution.
