Maurizio Flammini (born 29 November 1949) is an Italian former racing driver. [1]
Founded in 1975, Flammini racing was involved in managing sport's marketing and in particular cars/motorcycles sport events and motorshows. Between the Companies founded during his career there was : Octagon Motorsports with Interpublic Group Of America, Infront Motorsports and other leading companies in the International Motorsport. He created the SUPERBIKE WORD CHAMPIONSHIP which has been an still is a leading Championship at world level for motorcycle sports, with billions of viewers in more than 120 countries of the world. Today the Group owns participations in several international companies as Spring Studios , one of the world leading marketing companies in the Fashion are and is developing business in the Health sector.
The rise of FG GROUP began with the motor racing program in 1983. The program was carried out in collaboration with the Italian Motorcycling and Car Federation, the Italian motorsport relaunch program brought huge economic benefits and image promotion to all national motorsport achieving excellent results. Since its first season in 1988, FG GROUP (FG Sport at that time) under Maurizio Flammini organized and promoted the FIM World Superbike Championship. The Championship, under the guidance of Maurizio , become one of the 2 leading championship in the world , challenging the leadership of the MOTOGP , and having the participation of even 7 Top Motorcycle Manufacturers.
Maurizio Falmmini's career in Cars Racing started with a win in Monza Formula 3 where he still maintain the lap record. In fact in Monza Maurizio still has 3 lap records : Formula 3 - Formula 2 at the European Championship 1980 and in the SUPERTOURING RACE in 1990 with the Sierra Cosworth 600HP . He was chosen by the Ferrari Formula 1 team managed by Giancarlo Minardi to oartecipate to the Formula 1 championship. He participated to the Formula 2 championship as first driver of the March works team in 1976 and won 4 races in F2 in 2 years( 1975 and 1976). He was Italian Touring Car Champion in 1987 and recordman in the European Supertouring Championship race in Monza 1990. He won several races with the CHEVRON Sport 2000 BMW with Genovese racing Team in the 80's.

Juan Manuel Fangio, nicknamed El Chueco or El Maestro, was an Argentine racing car driver. He dominated the first decade of Formula One racing, winning the World Drivers' Championship five times.
Alberto Ascari was an Italian racing driver and twice Formula One World Champion. He was a multitalented racer who competed in motorcycle racing before switching to cars. Ascari won consecutive world titles in 1952 and 1953 for Scuderia Ferrari. He was the team's first World Champion and the last Italian to date to win the title. This was sandwiched by an appearance in the 1952 Indianapolis 500. Ascari also won the Mille Miglia in 1954. Ascari was noted for the careful precision and finely-judged accuracy that made him one of the safest drivers in a most dangerous era until his death.
Alan Stanley Jones, is an Australian former Formula One driver. He was the first driver to win a Formula One World Championship with the Williams team, becoming the 1980 World Drivers' Champion and the second Australian to do so following triple World Champion Sir Jack Brabham. He competed in a total of 117 Grands Prix, winning 12 and achieving 24 podium finishes. In 1978 Jones won the Can-Am championship driving a Lola.

The Monza Circuit is a historic 5.793 km (3.600 mi) race track near the city of Monza, north of Milan, in Italy. Johnny Alberto Cecotto Persello, better known as Johnny Cecotto, is a Venezuelan former professional Grand Prix motorcycle racer and auto racer. He rose to prominence as a teenage prodigy in 1975 when he became the youngest motorcycle road racing world champion at the age of 19. Despite the auspicious beginning to his motorcycle racing career, he suffered numerous injuries and mechanical problems which curtailed his success in motorcycle Grand Prix racing.
Carlo Giovanni Facetti is a former racing driver from Italy, mainly known for his success in touring car and sports car racing. In his single attempt at Formula One he failed to qualify for the 1974 Italian Grand Prix with a Brabham BT42 run by the Scuderia Finotto team.

The International GTSprint Series was a grand tourer-style sports car racing founded in 2010 by FG Group, led by Maurizio Flammini, and afterwards by Superstars World of Racing SpA, a company managed by the same group. The series born under the name of Superstars GTSprint and took the current name the following year, and was canceled before the 2014 season due to lack of entries.
