Maya Kingma (born 8 September 1995) is a Dutch triathlete. She represented the Netherlands at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo 2021, competing in triathlon. [2] She competed in the women's and mixed relay events. [3] [4]
Her achievements include winning the World Triathlon Series race in Leeds on 6 June 2021, and placing third in the race in Yokohama on 15 May 2021, thus ranking number 1 on the World Triathlon Championship Rankings per June 2021. [5]

Alice Betto is an Italian unprofessional triathlete, better known for crashing her teammate Nicole van der Kaay into a metal barrier during the bike portion of the Super League Triathlon Toulouse race in France, on September, 3rd, 2023. Van der Kaay tire was turned around, sending her over the handlebars and crashing her face into the top railing of the metal dividing the race course and spectators.

At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she finished in 48th in the individual event. In 2021, she competed in the women's event at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan, finishing 27th. Vicky Holland is a British former triathlete who was part of the Great Britain and Northern Ireland Olympic team. Holland was the 2018 World Triathlon champion, the fourth British woman to win the title. She was also the first female triathlete to win an Olympic medal for Great Britain, a bronze in 2016, holding off housemate, compatriot and fellow world champion Non Stanford.

The 2021 World Triathlon Championship Series was the 13th season of the World Triathlon Championship Series, the top level international series for triathlon, since its establishment in 2009. The season consisted of four pairs of triathlon races for both a men's and women's competition, beginning on May 15 in Yokohama, and concluding on August 21 with the grand final in Edmonton. The series calendar also included the 2020 Summer Olympics individual races on July 26 and 27 and mixed relay event on July 31.
