"McGregor" is a song by Puerto Rican rapper and singer Anuel AA, released as a track from the album Las Leyendas Nunca Mueren on November 26, 2021. The song debuted at number 58 in Spain [1] and reached number 25 on the US Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart. [2] A music video was released on March 4, 2022.
Two days before the release of the album Las Leyendas Nunca Mueren , Anuel AA uploaded the official preview of the sixth track, called McGregor. [3]
The song contains samples of "Drive Forever" performed by Sergio Valentino. Anuel AA mentions such artists as Daddy Yankee, Don Omar and even his ex-girlfriend Karol G. In the music video he censored Karol G's name. [4]
The music video of the song was released on March 4, 2022 and was directed by Fernando Lugo and Anuel AA. [5] It was recorded in the Dominican Republic and shows fragments and recreates Conor McGregor's fights against José Aldo, Nate Diaz and Eddie Alvarez. [6] In June the music video got removed due to copyright but it was recovered later.

He is seen as a controversial figure in the Latin music scene for his legal troubles and feuds with fellow Puerto Rican rappers Cosculluela, Ivy Queen, and Arcángel as well as American rapper 6ix9ine. Raised in Carolina, Puerto Rico, he started recording music at age fourteen and began posting it online four years later in 2014, before eventually signing to the Latin division of fellow American rapper Rick Ross's Maybach Music Group. His 2016 mixtape Real Hasta la Muerte was well-received, but his success was put on hold the same year by a 30-month prison sentence for illegal firearm possession in Puerto Rico.
