McMaster Musical Theatre (or MMT, as it is often abbreviated) is a theatre company operating in Hamilton, Ontario. It was officially created in 1983 as a McMaster Students Union club, operating out of McMaster University. MMT presents a musical theatre production every February involving volunteer performers, musicians, technicians and crew. MMT is led by an annually-elected executive team and annually-hired production team, who also work in the club on a volunteer basis. The members of the club are ever-changing and made up of both students from McMaster University and non-students.

MMT's productions have taken place at venues across Hamilton including the Downtown Arts Centre, and the Lyric Theatre (previously the Westside Concert Theatre). Currently, they perform at the Robinson Memorial Theatre at McMaster University.

The yearly show is chosen by the executive team and licensed from a production rights company such as Music Theatre International, Samuel French, or Tams Witmark. Applications for the production team usually become available at the start of May, with auditions for cast, orchestra and crew applications the following September. Current information regarding auditions, applications, and current productions can be found at MMT's website. [1]

McMaster Musical Theatre recently completed its 37th season with their production of Mamma Mia! in February 2020.
