Mechowiec [mɛˈxɔvjɛt͡s] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Dzikowiec, within Kolbuszowa County, Subcarpathian Voivodeship, in south-eastern Poland. [1] It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) west of Dzikowiec, 5 km (3 mi) north-east of Kolbuszowa, and 32 km (20 mi) north-west of the regional capital Rzeszów.
