Medha Manjrekar (born 28 April 1968) is an Indian actress in Marathi cinema, known for Natsamrat (2016), Kaksparsh (2012) and De Dhakka (2008). [2] She played lead role opposite Nana Patekar in 2016 Marathi film Natsamrat , the highest-grossing film in Marathi cinema at the time. [3]
She is married with Mahesh Manjrekar in 1995, with whom she had a daughter named Saiee Manjrekar. [4] [5] [6]

Vishwanath Patekar, better known as Nana Patekar, is an Indian actor, screenwriter, film maker, and a former Indian Territorial Army officer, mainly working in Hindi and Marathi cinema. He is regarded as one of the finest and influential actors in Indian Cinema, Patekar is recipient of three National Film Awards, four Filmfare Awards and two Filmfare Awards Marathi for his acting performances. He was bestowed with the Padma Shri award in 2013 for his contribution in cinema and arts.

Based on a short story by Usha Datar by the same name, the film depicts the tumultuous events in a Chitpavan Brahmin family, set around 1930–1950 in Konkan. The film was a commercial success and got critical acclaim for its direction, screenplay by Girish Joshi and also for the performances by its actors, especially Khedekar for his portrayal of Hari Damle as a head of the family.
