He successfully finished his work as debut director on Arima Nambi starring Vikram Prabhu and Priya Anand, a Tamil thriller film. He directed Iru Mugan and Arima Nambi, both of them became blockbusters at the box-office. In 2018, he directed NOTA, starring Vijay Devarkonda in his Tamil debut. The film was released on October 5, 2018.
Arun Kumar, known professionally as Atlee, is an Indian film director, screenwriter and film producer best known for his work in Tamil cinema. He initially worked as an assistant director under S. Shankar in the films Enthiran (2010) and Nanban (2012). He made his directorial debut with the film Raja Rani (2013), produced by Fox Star Studios, for which he was awarded Best Debut Director by the Vijay Award and the Tamil Nadu State award for best dialogue writer.
Spyder is a 2017 Indian psychological action thriller film written and directed by A. R. Murugadoss and produced by N. V. Prasad. The film was simultaneously shot in Telugu and Tamil languages, and stars Mahesh Babu, S. J. Suryah and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles. Murugadoss wrote the Tamil dialogue while the Paruchuri Brothers wrote the Telugu version. The film was edited by A. Sreekar Prasad, with cinematography by Santosh Sivan and music by Harris Jayaraj.
Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is a 2022 Indian biographical drama film written, produced, and directed by R. Madhavan in his directorial debut. The film is based on the life of Nambi Narayanan, played by Madhavan, a scientist at the Indian Space Research Organisation who was accused in an espionage case and later exonerated. The story spans across Narayanan's days as a graduate student at Princeton University, before exploring his work as a scientist and the false espionage charges placed upon him. Simran played the main female lead.

7aum Arivu is the soundtrack to the 2011 film of the same name directed by A. R. Murugadoss and starred Suriya, Johnny Trí Nguyễn and Shruti Haasan. The music and original score is composed by Harris Jayaraj in his second collaboration with Murugadoss after Ghajini (2005). The film consisted of six tracks written by Pa. Vijay, Na. Muthukumar, Kabilan and Madhan Karky, the latter wrote a song in Chinese language. The soundtrack was released at the launch event held in Chennai Trade Centre on 22 September 2011, with Sony Music India distributing the album in digital and physical formats. The soundtrack to the Telugu-dubbed version 7th Sense was also released on the same date.
