Abel Oluwafemi Dosunmu, known as Mega 99, is a Nigerian gospel juju musician and songwriter. [1] [2] [3]

Early life

Mega99 was born in Oshodi, Lagos State, Nigeria. [4] He obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in accountancy from Olabisi Onabanjo University. [5]

Career

In 1994, Mega99 established a musical group called Abel Dosunmu and the Mega 99 Band. [6] His debut album titled My mother was released in 1998, another album titled Prayer was released in 2000, and his album titled Money was released in 2004. He later released "Ona Ara" in 2006 followed by "Weep Not" in 2008 and Thanksgiving in 2010. Another album titled Victory at last was released in 2012, Fear Not in 2013 and Emajo Emayo in 2014. [7] [8] Mega 99 has also sang songs alongside some other gospel singers in nigeria like Bola Are. [9]

He voluntarily exited the Chocolate City deal in 2013 and announced the launch of his independent label, Jagz Nation. Simisola Bolatito Kosoko, better known by her stage name Simi, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and actress. She started her career as a gospel singer, releasing her debut studio album in 2008, titled Ogaju. She also played as one of the top judges in season 7 of the Nigerian idol TV show in 2022. She gained public recognition in 2014 after releasing "Tiff", a song that was nominated for Best Alternative Song at The Headies 2015. Simi signed a record deal with X3M Music in 2014, but left the label in May 2019 following the expiration of her contract. She released her second studio album Simisola on September 8, 2017. Her third studio album Omo Charlie Champagne, Vol. 1 was released to coincide with her thirty-first birthday on April 19, 2019. She launched her record label Studio Brat in June 2019.

Chief Abiola Dosunmu, is a Nigerian businesswoman, socialite and traditional aristocrat. In addition to a variety of other chieftaincy titles, she currently holds that of the Erelu Kuti IV of Lagos.
