Megan Oldham (born May 12, 2001) is a Canadian freestyle skier who competes internationally in the big air and slopestyle disciplines. [1] [2] Oldham grew up in Parry Sound, Ontario. [3]

Career

Oldham joined the Canadian national team in 2018. [1] In January 2019, Oldham won her first FIS World Cup medal, a silver, in the slopestyle event. [4] In March 2019, Oldham won her first World Cup gold and took home the 2019 Slopestyle Crystal Globe. [5]

Oldham competed at her first World Championships in 2021. She won the bronze medal in the slopestyle and fourth in the big air. [6]

Oldham won two medals at the 2022 Winter X Games: a silver in big air and a bronze in the slopestyle. [7]

On January 24, 2022, Oldham was named to Canada's 2022 Olympic team in the big air and slopestyle events. She earned a fourth-place finish in Big Air. [8] [9]

In January 2023, while competing in the X Games, Oldham became the first woman to land a triple cork in any women's ski or snowboard event. She landed a leftside triple cork 1440 while competing in Women’s Ski Big Air, and won a gold medal in that event. [10] She won her second gold at the 2023 X Games in women's ski slopetyle. [11]

A three-time Olympic bronze medallist, he placed third in each of the 2014 Winter Olympics, 2018 Winter Olympics, and 2022 Winter Olympics in the slopestyle event. While filming for Transworld Snowboarding's "Park Sessions" video in March 2011, Mark became the first person to land a Backside Triple Cork 1440. More recently, on April 28, 2018, Mark landed the world's first Double Cork off a rail, the Front-Board Double Cork 1170, with a melancholy grab. Mark has also left his mark at X-Games and other events. In 2012 and 2013, Mark won back-to-back gold medals in Winter X Games in the slopestyle event. In 2023 he defended his Winter X Games gold medal in the men's slopestyle to set a record for the most Winter X Games medals with 22.

Dara Howell is a Canadian freestyle skier. She was the first freestyle skier to win a gold medal in ski slopestyle at the inaugural event at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. Howell has also won a bronze medal in women's slopestyle at the Winter X Games XVII in Aspen, Colorado, behind Tiril Sjåstad Christiansen and Kaya Turski.

Maxence "Max" Parrot is a Canadian snowboarder. He is the reigning Olympic champion in slopestyle, winning gold at the 2022 Winter Olympics and also won a silver in the event at the 2018 Winter Olympics. She also won the bronze medal in the women's big air at the 2018 Winter Olympics, and won the women's slopestyle title at the 2019 World Championships.

Andri Ragettli is a Swiss freestyle skier. He has won ten world cup titles and five crystal globes, including slopestyle in 2016, 2018, 2020 and 2022, as well as big air in 2019. He represented Switzerland in slopestyle at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, where he qualified for the final, along with two fellow Swiss skiers, and finished 7th. Andri won his first X-Games gold medal at X-Games Norway 2020, which was his childhood dream. Since then he has added two more X-Games gold medals: one in big air (2021) and one in Slopestyle (2022). At the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing he qualified in first place for slopestyle finals but ended up 4th in the end.
