Meghna Vincent is an Indian film and television actress who appears in Malayalam and Tamil languages. She is known for her lead roles of Amrutha in Chandanamazha, [1] Rohini in Ponmagal Vanthal [2] and Seetha in Deivam Thandha Veedu . [3]

Career

Meghna made her television debut through Malayalam serial Swamiye Saranamayyappa. [4] Later she appeared in a supporting role in serials like Mohakkadal, Indira, and Autograph. [5] She played Sridevi in Malayalam film Parankimala, and Meghna in the Tamil film Kayal . [6] She played the main female lead Seetha Ram Chakravarthy in the Tamil TV serial Deivam Thandha Veedu which aired on Vijay TV. [4] It was one of the popular Tamil serials which ended in 992 episodes. In February 2014, she started playing the lead role of Amrutha in the Malayalam serial Chandanamazha in Asianet. She opted out of the serial in May 2017 post her marriage.[ citation needed ] Both the above serials were remakes of Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, a Hindi serial. She played the main role on ATMA's serial Mamangam . [7] She then played lead roles in the Tamil serial Ponmagal Vanthal and the Malayalam show Mrs. Hitler . [8]

Uppum Mulakum is an Indian Malayalam-language sitcom, that has been broadcast on Flowers since 14 December 2015. The sitcom was created by R. Unnikrishnan, who also directs it, after he returned to the director role in the second season. Uppum Mulakum depicts the everyday life of Balachandran Thampi, his wife Neelima, and their five children. The main cast includes Biju Sopanam, Nisha Sarang, Rishi S. Kumar, Juhi Rustagi, Al Sabith, Shivani Menon, Baby Ameya and Parvathy Ayyappadas. <i>Ponmagal Vanthal</i> (TV series) Indian television soap opera

Ponmagal Vanthal is a Tamil-language family soap opera series starring Meghna Vincent, Vicky Krish, Shanoor Sana and Vandana Michael. It started airing on 26 February 2018 and ended at 1 February 2020 for 571 episodes on Vijay TV, every Monday to Friday in an afternoon programming block called "Vijay Matinee Thodargal". Later the show was rescheduled to air Monday through Saturday. The series marks the debut Tamil-language television series for Ayesha of Kerala, who plays the lead role, however she was replaced by Meghna Vincent after episode 105. The series is directed by Gopal Shamugam.
