Meili Carpenter (born December 8, 1987) [1] is an American high diver and former 1- and 3-meter diver for the Buffalo Bulls.
Carpenter is from Boulder, Colorado. [2] She attended the University at Buffalo [3] and studied chemistry and psychology. [4]
Carpenter competed for the University at Buffalo's Buffalo Bulls from 2006 to 2010. She holds the program record in the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events. [5] In 2010, she won the 1-meter [6] and 3-meter events at the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Championships. [7] Carpenter was named University at Buffalo Female Athlete of the Year in 2010. [2]
In 2023, Carpenter was inducted into the Dr. and Mrs. Edmond J. Gicewicz Family UB Athletics Hall of Fame at the University at Buffalo. [8] She was the first diver in the Bulls' program history to win two diving gold medals at the same MAC Championship. [9]
Carpenter qualified for Olympic trials in diving in 2012, [10] following second and ninth-place finishes in the one-meter and three-meter finals at the 2011 USA Diving Winter National Championships. She coached for Canisius College's diving program, beginning with their 2010–11 season. [2]
Carpenter made her Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series debut as a wildcard diver at the Downpatrick Head event in Ireland in 2021. [4] At the opening event of the 2022 World Series in Boston, she placed third, her first podium finish. [11] Carpenter placed third on the fourth stop on the 2022 Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series in Oslo, Norway with a cumulative score of 314.10. [12] With two podiums and a sixth-place finish overall in 2022, she qualified for a season regular spot at the 2023 World Series.
Carpenter placed fifth overall in women's high-diving at the 2023 World Aquatics Championships in Fukuoka, Japan, scoring 299.55 points over four dives. [13] She finished sixth at the 2023 World Aquatics High Diving World Cup in Fort Lauderdale in the women's 20-meter competition. [14]
Carpenter was the first person to dive at the Mostar event at the 2023 Red Bull Cliff Diving series, performing a back somersault for 58.5 points. [15] Despite not making the podium, she placed fifth overall in the series. [16] At the 2024 Red Bull Cliff Diving series, Carpenter placed fourth at the second stop in Boston. [17]

With a silver in the 2013 edition of the event, Hunt is the most successful male diver in the short history of the FINA recognised event.

Constantin Popovici is a Romanian platform diver. In 2019, he became the first Romanian to achieve a first-place finish at a stop of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series. He is the 2022 European champion in the 27 metre high dive. He has won multiple medals as part of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series and he won the bronze medal in the 27 metre high dive event at the Abu Dhabi Aquatics Festival in 2021. For the 10 metre platform event at the 2008 Summer Olympics, he placed twenty-third overall.

The team is a member of the Mid-American Conference (MAC), which is part of the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I. The team plays their home matches at Alumni Arena in Amherst, New York. The Bulls are coached by Donnie Vinson.

In 2019, she finished in ninth place in the 2019 Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series. She also competed in the 2023 Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series.
Lysanne Richard is a Canadian high diver and acrobat. She represented Canada at the 2015 World Aquatics Championships in Kazan, Russia and she finished in 5th place in the women's high diving event. She was not able to represent Canada at the 2017 World Aquatics Championships as she had to withdraw from the competition after sustaining a neck injury.
Genevieve Bradley is an American high diver. She represented the United States at the 2019 World Aquatics Championships in Gwangju, South Korea. She competed in the women's high diving event and she finished in 4th place.
Aidan Heslop is a British diver and high diver who competes internationally representing Wales and Great Britain. In 2024 he won gold in the men's high dive at the 2024 World Aquatics Championships.
