He searches for the people who attacked him, raped and killed his wife, using an elaborate system of Polaroid photographs, handwritten notes, and tattoos to track information he won't remember. Memento Mori is the second studio album by American rock band Flyleaf, released through A&M/Octone Records on November 10, 2009. The title is a Latin phrase meaning "be mindful of death" or "remember you will die". Memento Mori debuted at number eight on the Billboard 200, selling 56,000 units in its opening week. It also became the first album by a female-led act to top the Billboard Hard Rock Albums chart. The album sold more than 311,600 copies in the U.S. in a little over one year.

Memento Mori is an Apple Music 1 radio show created by Canadian singer the Weeknd. Syndicated through his record label XO, the show began airing on June 8, 2018. Throughout the show, the Weeknd plays a mixture of songs that have inspired him during his album-making process. He also invites various guests to host their own episode and share their curated playlists.

Lamb of God is the tenth studio album by American heavy metal band Lamb of God. The album was initially set for release on May 8, 2020 through Epic and Nuclear Blast, but was later pushed back to June 19 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Memento Mori is the fifteenth studio album by Depeche Mode, released on 24 March 2023 through Columbia and Mute. The album was produced by James Ford. It was preceded by the single "Ghosts Again" and the track "My Cosmos Is Mine", and is the first Depeche Mode studio album to be recorded and released as a duo, after the death of co-founder and keyboardist Andy Fletcher on 26 May 2022. The album is promoted by the Memento Mori World Tour.
