Memoirs from a Bedroom: Issue 1 is the fourth EP by Australian rock band Papa Vs Pretty. It was released on 27 May 2011 as a limited edition EP alongside the band's 2011 debut studio album United in Isolation , as a bonus disc for JB Hi-Fi and Red Eye Records customers who pre-ordered the album. The EP contains a selection of B-sides and demos of previously unreleased Papa Vs Pretty songs, written, performed and recorded by lead singer, guitarist and primary songwriter Thomas Rawle. The EP is Issue 1 of what the band hope will become a continued series of Memoirs from a Bedroom releases, although, ultimately was the solo released.

In May 2011, Rawle stated that he had written and produced approximately 30 albums worth of material at home in his bedroom, which he hopes to eventually release in the future. [3]

American Hi-Fi American rock band

American Hi-Fi is an American rock band formed in Boston in 1998. The band consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Stacy Jones, lead guitarist Jamie Arentzen, bassist and backing vocalist Drew Parsons, and drummer Brian Nolan. Prior to the group's formation, Stacy Jones was well known for being a drummer in the successful alternative rock bands Veruca Salt and Letters to Cleo. American Hi-Fi has a close relationship with Miley Cyrus, whose band shares two members with American Hi-Fi. The group has a mixed musical style that includes influences from pop punk, alternative rock, and power pop.

Noise Addict was an Australian alternative rock band formed in 1993 by founding mainstay Ben Lee on lead vocals and guitar. He was joined in 1995 by Romy Hoffman on guitar before the group disbanded early in 1996. They had issued a studio album, Meet the Real You, on Fellaheen Records/Shock Records in late 1995. Lee undertook a solo career. He briefly reconvened Noise Addict in 2009 with new members, Lou Barlow and Lara Meyerratken, to issue a second album, It Was Never About the Audience, before returning to his solo pursuits.

Antiskeptic is a rock band based in Melbourne, Australia. The band has enjoyed over ten years of successful touring nationally, releasing three full-length albums, three EPs and two DVDs. The band have toured with many successful groups, including Midnight Oil, Jimmy Eat World, Unwritten Law, Millencolin, MxPx, Jebediah, Bodyjar and Dashboard Confessional. Antiskeptic are known for their energetic live shows and powerful performances as much as the uplifting and encouraging lyrical content of their songs.

Papa vs Pretty

Papa vs Pretty was an Australian rock band from Sydney, New South Wales. Originally the solo act of then 15-year-old Thomas Rawle in 2006, Papa vs Pretty became a three-piece band in 2008 with the addition of Rawle's friends Angus Gardiner and Tom Myers, and a quartet in 2012 with the arrival of Luke Liang. On Monday 30 June 2014, the band announced their breakup.

MTV Unplugged is the first live album by Australian alternative band Gang of Youths. Gang of Youths were the first band to record a MTV Unplugged live in Australia. The album includes 9 tracks from their album Go Farther in Lightness and one from their EP Let Me Be Clear. Gang Of Youths bassist Max Dunn said the performance was a “pretty important moment” for the group. Dunn said “It's a cool chance to do something a little different and stretch ourselves and give the fans a little more experience of the songs. That's kind of the main thing. In terms of ‘MTV Unplugged’, it’s an important thing from back in the day and it's cool that it's happening and we get to be a part of it.” The recording took place at Cobblestone Pavilion, West Melbourne on 25 July 2018 and was broadcast on MTV Australia on 19 August 2018. The album was released on 26 October 2018.
