The Mercedes-Benz Classic Center is part of Mercedes-Benz for restoring and preserving old Mercedes models. [1] It was first opened on May 18, 1993, [2] in Fellbach, Germany, outside Stuttgart. [3] A second location was opened in June 2006 in Irvine, California. [4]
The Classic Center provides genuine parts, repairs, restorations, and information for and sales of historic Mercedes-Benz vehicles that are at least 15 years out of production. [5] It helps Classic Mercedes-Benz car owners to obtain information and documentation on their vehicle (upon proof of ownership) and also offers consulting and technical appraisals for their vehicles. [3] The Classic Center in Fellbach also maintains the Mercedes-Benz Museum fleet of historic vehicles. [6]
Both Classic Center locations often display automobiles from their collections at concours, historic racing, and other special events. The Irvine, California, location also supplies classic cars for use in Mercedes-Benz television commercials.

The Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance is an automotive charitable event held each year during the second weekend in March at The Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island in Amelia Island, Florida. A New York Times article about celebrity car ownership listed "the nation's top concours d'elegance: Pebble Beach in California, Meadow Brook in Michigan, Amelia Island in Florida and the Louis Vuitton Classic in midtown Manhattan."
The Dana Point Concours d'Elegance is an automotive charitable event held each year on the Monarch Beach Golf Links at the Monarch Beach Resort Resort in Dana Point, California. It is operated primarily as a Classic Car Club of America (CCCA) Concours, with additional classes showcasing interesting and relevant automobiles and motorcycles. The 2010 event was held Sunday, June 27, 2010 moving from its traditional date in September.
The Kirkland Concours d'Elegance at America's Car Museum is an automotive charitable event which has raised approximately 1.5 million US dollars during its first nine years for uncompensated health care for children at Seattle Children's Hospital and Evergreen Hospital Medical Center. The event was established in 2003 and was held the first nine years of its existence at Carillon Point in Kirkland, Washington. In September 2012 the event moved to the LeMay America's Car Museum (ACM) in nearby Tacoma, and was held until 2013.
