Messengers is an American Christian metal band, and they primarily play thrash metal. [1] They come from Dallas, Texas. The band started making music in 2008, and their members are lead vocalist, Chad Paramore, lead guitarist, Chance Paramore, bassists, Thomas Kilgore (TK), Guitarist Andy Rhodes, and drummer, Noah Boyce. The band released an extended play, Anthems, in 2010 with Facedown Records alongside Strike First Records. Later joined by Guitarist Phillip Odom Their second extended play, No Shelter, was released in 2013. They are not to be confused with the UK Prog band, "Messenger", whose demo "Solid Chirps" sounds entirely different.

Music history

The band commenced as a musical entity in 2008, with their first release, Anthems, an extended play, that was released by Facedown Records alongside Strike First Records on November 9, 2010. Their second extended play, No Shelter, was independently released, in 2013. [5]

Fallstar is an American metalcore band from Portland, Oregon. Founded in 2007, the original lineup consisted of lead vocalist Chris Ratzlaff, guitarists Justin Raymond Haag and Jason Brown, bassist Bryan Ratzlaff, and drummer Cody Carrier.

Hands was an American Christian metal band from Fargo, North Dakota, United States. The band started making music in 2007, with lead vocalist and guitarist Shane Ochsner, lead guitarist Ian Johnson, bass guitarist Chris Schwartz, and drummer Josh Silbernagel. Jerik Hendrickson became the band's lead guitarist in 2010, but he has since left the band, with Shane Ochsner taking over lead guitar duties. Altars are an American Christian metalcore band from Colorado Springs, Colorado. The band started making music in 2010, with members, lead vocalist, Canaan Smith, guitarists, Seth Munson and Brock Williams, bass guitarist Mike Searle, and drummer, Ben Reno. The band released one extended play, Opposition, in 2011 with Strike First Records. Their first studio album, Conclusions, was released by Facedown Records in 2012. The subsequent album, Something More, was released in 2013 by Facedown Records.

Ark of the Covenant is an American Christian metalcore band from Connecticut. The band started making music in 2009, and their members are lead vocalist, Alexander Vincelette, lead guitarist, Jacob Johnson, bassist, Daniel Graves, and drummer, Michael Hnath. Dynasty is an American Christian hardcore punk band from Los Angeles, California. The band started making music in 2004, and their members are lead vocalist, Joel Muniz, guitarists, Ivan Hernandez and Marcel Muniz, bassist, Ruben Nunez, and drummer, Nick Sturz. The band released a studio album, Truer Living with a Youthful Vengeance, in 2011 with Strike First Records. Their second studio album, Beyond Measure, was released in 2013 by Facedown Records. The band is performing at Facedown Fest 2017.

Onward to Olympas was an American metalcore band from Salisbury, North Carolina. The band started making music in 2005, and disbanded in 2013. Their membership was vocalists, Chris Davis and Kramer Lowe, guitarists and vocalist, Andy Simmons, Justin Gage, and Kyle Phillips, drummer and vocalist, Mark Hudson, guitarist, Andrew Higginbotham, bass guitarist, Justin Allman, and drummers, Matt Burnside, Nick Helvey. The band released one independently made album, The End of the Beginning, in 2007, and their lone extended play, Victory at All Costs, in 2008. Call to Preserve was an American Christian and straight edge crossover thrash band who played a fusion hardcore punk and metalcore. They come from Rockledge, Florida. The band started making music in 2003, and disbanded in 2011. Their membership was vocalist, John Ellis, guitarists, Duke Ahrens, Matt Aviles, and Harbor Partin, bass guitarist, Kyle Bowen, and drummer, Mike Aviles. The band released one independently made extended play, Call to Preserve, in 2003. Their first studio album, Unsinkable, was released by Strike First Records, in 2006. The subsequent studio album, From Isolation, was released by Facedown Records, in 2008. They released, Life of Defiance, with Facedown Records, in 2010, and this was final studio album. Their last release, an extended play, Validation, was released by Facedown Records, in 2011, marking this as their final musical recording.

Inked in Blood was an American Christian metalcore and melodic hardcore group. They come from Portland, Oregon. The band started making music in 2001 and disbanded in 2007. Their first show was December 2001 in Portland, OR with Knives Out. The band released two demos, one extended play, Awakening Vesuvius, in 2004. Their first studio album, Lay Waste the Poets, was released by Facedown Records, in 2005. The subsequent studio album, Sometimes We Are Beautiful, was released by Facedown Records, in 2007, as their final recording.

Bloodlined Calligraphy is an American Christian metal band, and they primarily play metalcore. They come from Ypsilanti, Michigan. The band started making music in 1999. Their membership was Matt Carter, Ally French, Ryan Hampton, and Eric Cargile. The band released, Say Hi to the Bad Guy, an album, with Selah Records, in 2002. The group became part of Strike First Records, where they released, The Beginning of the End, an extended play, in 2004. They signed to Facedown Records, where they released, They Want You Silent, another studio album, in 2004. Their subsequent studio album, Ypsilanti, was released by Facedown Records, in 2006. The band played their last show on April 19, 2014. The band reunited in 2017 for Facedown Fest 2017.

Sleep for Sleepers were an American Christian alternative rock band, also defined as an alternative rock and indie rock band. The band formed in Whittier, California in 2004. The current lineup consists of vocalist and guitarist Jamey Price and drummer Chad Jordan, the latter of whom joined in mid-2013. The original lineup consisted of guitarist Chris Kellogg, bassist Jamey Price, and drummer Jeff Darcy.

Demise of Eros was a metalcore band from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania that formed in late 2003. The band signed to Strike First Records, a subsidiary of Facedown Records. The band disbanded in 2006.

Judgement X Day or Judgement Day is a Metal hardcore straight-edge band from Southern California.
