Metlhayotlhe Beleme (b. 1962, Molepolole) is an Anglican bishop in Botswana. [1]

Beleme trained as an electrician and worked at the Jwaneng diamond mine until 1989. He studied for the priesthood at Lelapa la Jesu Seminary; and at the National University of Lesotho. He was ordained in 1993. He has been Rector of Francistown; Archdeacon of North Botswana; Sub-Dean of Holy Cross Cathedral, Botswana; Rector Tlokweng; Dean of the Cathedral of the Resurrection, Ikageng-Potchefstroom; Rector of Klerksdorp; and, from 2013, Bishop of Botswana. Anglican ministry

Roland Arthur Wood was an Anglican bishop. Born on 1 January 1933 and educated at Bishop’s University, Lennoxville, Quebec he was ordained in 1958. He began his career as Assistant Curate at St Matthew’s, Winnipeg after which he was Rector Christ Church, Selkirk. From 1964 to 1967 he was an Assistant Priest at St John’s Cathedral,Saskatoon and then Rector of Holy Trinity Church, Yorkton until 1971. Next he was Rector of the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist (Saskatoon) for a decade and then Bishop of Saskatoon from 1981 until 1993. Finally he was Rector of St James’ Cathedral and Dean of Athabasca until 1998. He died on 17 September 2002.

Trevor Mwamba

Musonda Trevor Selwyn Mwamba, known as Trevor Mwamba, is an Anglican bishop. He was consecrated Bishop of Botswana on 6 February 2005. He tendered his resignation as Bishop of Botswana on 30 September 2012 – the day on which Botswana marks the anniversary of its independence from Britain. His successor was consecrated on 14 July 2013. On 4 April 2021, he was elected President of the United National Independence Party.

The Diocese of Botswana is one of 15 dioceses of the Anglican Church of the Province of Central Africa, a province of the Anglican Communion.

Charles Shannon Mallory, styled C. Shannon Mallory, was the inaugural Bishop of Botswana, consecrated in Gaborone in 1972; and afterwards inaugural Bishop of El Camino Real.
