Michael Bacon (born 1968) is an American 3D artist/animator/designer/musician who has been working in the video game industry since 1996. He has worked on an array of large scale production game titles as Art Director/Lead Artist or Senior Artist with such companies as THQ, Sony Online Entertainment, Boss Game Studios, n-Space, Jaleco Inc, Volition, Hasbro Toy Company, and Aramat Productions. Michael Bacon is Lead Environment Artist at Intrepid Studios working on the Ashes of Creation game franshise. Previously, he was a Senior Artist at Sony Online Entertainment in San Diego, California working on the popular EverQuest 2 MMORPG franchise for the PC. Projects there include the international release of EverQuest II: Sentinel's Fate , EverQuest II: The Complete Collection , EverQuest II: The Shadow Odyssey , EverQuest II: Desert of Flames , EverQuest II: Kingdom of Sky , EverQuest II: Echoes of Faydwer , [2] and EverQuest II: Rise of Kunark .
Bacon also worked with Volition contributing significantly to the Xbox 360 title Saints Row and has work in the coming Saints Row 2 sequel that is scheduled for release late summer of 2008 from publisher THQ.
He is also a rock guitar player/producer/musician contributing tracks to the WCW vs. nWo wrestling game franchise, Duke Nukem - Land of the Babes for GT Interactive, and the THQ fighting game "VS". Bacon has independent CD releases which including work with the 80s metal band Havuk, the 2006 release contributing tracks to the Madd Krakker "Saltine Dream" CD currently available at ITunes and other on-line distribution networks.
Bacon is also featured on Karlton Coffin's current CD release "3 Minutes of Fury".

EverQuest is a 3D fantasy-themed massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) originally developed by Verant Interactive and 989 Studios for Windows PCs. It was released by Sony Online Entertainment in March 1999 in North America, and by Ubisoft in Europe in April 2000. A dedicated version for macOS was released in June 2003, which operated for ten years before being shut down in November 2013. In June 2000, Verant Interactive was absorbed into Sony Online Entertainment, who took over full development and publishing duties of the title. Later, in February 2015, SOE's parent corporation, Sony Computer Entertainment, sold the studio to investment company Inception Acquisitions and was rebranded as Daybreak Game Company, who develops and publishes EverQuest to this day.

Brad McQuaid was an American video game designer who was the key designer of EverQuest, a highly successful massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) released in 1999. He later co-founded Sigil Games Online where he served as CEO and Executive Producer of Vanguard: Saga of Heroes until Sony Online Entertainment's acquisition of Sigil Games Online in May 2007. On July 6, 2012, SOE announced the re-hiring of McQuaid to continue his work on Vanguard. On January 13, 2014, McQuaid announced his role of Chief Creative Officer at Visionary Realms, Inc. for the PC MMORPG, Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen.
EverQuest Online Adventures (EQOA) was a 2003 3D fantasy massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) for the PlayStation 2. The game was part of the EverQuest franchise before being shut down on March 29, 2012, after nine years of operation.
Summoner is a Western action role-playing (RPG/WRPG) video game developed by Volition and published by THQ. It was released as a launch title for the Sony PlayStation 2 in 2000, and was subsequently ported to Microsoft Windows and Mac OS the following year. In the game, the player plays the role of Joseph and can assemble a team of compatriots and summon powerful monsters. The game has a world map, involved storyline, and unique hybrid combat system involving real-time and turn-based mechanisms.
Deep Silver Volition, LLC is an American video game developer based in Champaign, Illinois. The company was founded as Parallax Software in June 1993 by Mike Kulas and Matt Toschlog, and developed Descent and Descent II. The company split in two, wherein Toschlog founded Outrage Entertainment, while Kulas stayed with Parallax, which was renamed Volition in November 1996. Volition was acquired by THQ in August 2000, and when THQ filed for bankruptcy and had its assets sold off, Volition changed hands to Deep Silver in January 2013. Volition is best known for its Red Faction and Saints Row series of games.

A mobile tie-in version was developed by G5 Entertainment and released the same month. The game is the second title and first cross-platform release in the Saints Row series, following 2006's Saints Row. It is succeeded by 2011's Saints Row: The Third and 2013's Saints Row IV.

Originating in 2001, the Red Faction games have spanned Microsoft Windows, macOS and consoles, including the PlayStation 2, GameCube, Xbox, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Wicked Witch Software is a video games developer founded in 2001 by managing director Daniel Visser. Originally operating out of Visser's residence working on Game Boy titles, Wicked Witch moved to a small office. Wicked Witch has grown to be one of Australia's best known studios and is currently located in offices in Eastern Melbourne, Australia. The company has worked with many local and international developers and publishers. The senior staff are industry veterans, some who previously worked at Melbourne House and Torus Games. Wicked Witch has released around 50 titles for PC, handheld and mobile platforms and worked on dozens of other projects across most major consoles including Xbox 360, PlayStation 2 and Wii. Wicked Witch also owns a range of original products and game designs for many platforms, including one of the first MMORPG on the Java ME mobile platform.
