Michael William Barnes (born 3 April 1985) is an English former first-class cricketer,a right-handed batsman who played primarily as a wicketkeeper. He was born at Frimley,Surrey. He was educated at Bohunt School in Liphook,Hampshire and later at South Downs College in Waterlooville,Hampshire.[ citation needed ]
Barnes played a single first-class match for Warwickshire against Yorkshire in the 2007 County Championship. [1] He was not called upon to bat during the match,but from behind the stumps he took 5 catches. [2] He also played a single List A match for Warwickshire against Lancashire in the 2007 Friends Provident Trophy. [3] In his only List-A match,he scored 1 not out and from behind the stumps he took 5 catches,a record for a debutant in both games. [4] He was released by Warwickshire at the end of the 2007 season and subsequently retired from professional cricket. He went on to coach as the Cricket Professional at RGS Guildford until 2023. Barnes is an ECB level 4 specialist qualified cricket coach. As of March 2023,Barnes is employed by Surrey County Club as Pathway Lead Batting Coach. [5]

Michael Burns is an English first-class list cricket umpire and former first-class cricketer who played county cricket for Warwickshire and Somerset in a first-class career which spanned from 1992 until 2005. He also played Minor Counties cricket for Cumberland and Cornwall. An adaptable cricketer,he appeared for Cumberland and Warwickshire as a wicket-keeper,but when he moved to Somerset he developed into an aggressive batsman who bowled at medium-pace when needed.
Walter Herbert Livsey was an English first-class cricketer for Hampshire from 1913 until 1929. A wicket-keeper,Livsey played 320 matches and was considered one of the greatest keepers of the 1920s with 649 dismissals. He was also a tidy keeper,allowing only three byes during Oxford's 554–run innings in his first match. For this success he became Hampshire's regular keeper,and performed a noted stumping of Jack Hobbs in 1914. He fought during World War I,and was demobilised for the 1920 season. He continued at Hampshire until 1929,when his health forced him into retirement.
