Michael Doughty (born 5 August 1979) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL) between 2000 and 2012. He is now playing for Reynella Football Club in the Southern Football League, where he played junior football. [1]
Originally from South Adelaide Football Club in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL), Doughty was drafted by Adelaide with their first choice (fourth overall) at the 1999 Rookie Draft and elevated to Adelaide's senior list in 2000 when he made his senior AFL debut.
Known as a solid utility player, Doughty has most often used as a midfielder, tagger or a small defender. Doughty played his 150th game in round 8, 2009 and his 200th game in Round 15, 2011. Adelaide defeated Sydney by seven points to end a record-equalling six-match losing streak in this match. He retired at the end of the 2012 season, having played in 24 of Adelaide's 25 matches, only missing one game when his wife Sara gave birth to his son, Max. He joined sports management company Elite Sports Properties as a player manager after retiring as a player. [2]

Matthew Nicks is a former professional Australian Football League player and currently the senior coach of the Adelaide Football Club. He was recruited from the West Adelaide Football Club to the Sydney Swans with the 21st selection in the 1994 AFL Draft.

Scott Thompson is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Melbourne Football Club and Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was drafted by Melbourne with pick 16 in the 2000 national draft from Port Adelaide in the SANFL, and was traded to Adelaide after the 2004 season.
Edward Robert Betts III is a former Australian rules football player who played for the Carlton and Adelaide Football Clubs in the Australian Football League. Betts was originally drafted by Carlton with pick No. 3 in the 2004 Pre-Season Draft, where he played for nine years before Adelaide signed him as a free agent at the end of 2013. He moved back to Carlton at the conclusion of the 2019 season, where he would finish his career at the end of the 2021 season having played a total of 350 games and kicked 640 goals. Betts now works as a development coach at the Geelong Football Club.
Sam Jacobs is a former professional Australian rules football player who played for the Greater Western Sydney Giants, Adelaide Crows and Carlton Blues in the Australian Football League (AFL). Originally from Woodville-West Torrens in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL), Jacobs was selected by Carlton with pick 1 in the 2007 Rookie Draft. He was traded to Adelaide following the 2010 season. After the 2019 season Jacobs was again traded from Adelaide to Greater Western Sydney Giants. After a Covid affected 2020, Jacobs retired after 14 AFL Seasons.
Robert Shirley is an Australian rules footballer who played for the Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He also played for the Woodville-West Torrens Football Club in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL). Shirley was known as one of the best taggers in the AFL.

Taylor Walker is a professional Australian rules footballer who plays for the Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He is a former NSW Scholarship player with the club, and was drafted with pick 75 in the 2007 national draft. Walker previously captained Adelaide from 2015 to 2019. In September 2020, he kicked his 441st goal to become Adelaide's leading goalkicker.

Thomas Lynch is a former professional Australian rules football player who last played for the North Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL), having previously played for St Kilda and Adelaide. He was recruited by St Kilda from Sandringham Dragons Under 18 TAC Cup team with pick 13 in the 2008 National Draft. Lynch who had not played a game for North Melbourne since signing with the club prior to the 2022 season announced his retirement from North Melbourne on 31 May 2022 to make space for the mid season draft. He played a 158 games at senior level predominantly for the Adelaide Crows where he played. Prior to that he had played six senior games for St Kilda. Lynch was then traded to Adelaide following the 2011 season.
Daniel Talia is a former professional Australian rules football player who played for the Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was drafted with selection 13 in the 2009 National Draft from the Calder Cannons. In 2012 he won the AFL Rising Star award as the best young player in the league. Talia is the great-grandson of former Footscray player Arthur Stevens, and the grandson of Harvey Stevens who played in Footscray's 1954 VFL Grand Final victory. His younger brother, Michael Talia, played for the Western Bulldogs before being traded to the Sydney Swans after the 2015 season.

Jake Lever is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). A defender, 1.95 metres tall and weighing 89 kilograms (196 lb), Lever plays primarily as a half-back and is known for his intercept marking and ability to read the play. Originally from Romsey, Victoria, he played top-level football at a young age when he played with the Calder Cannons in the TAC Cup, and represented and captained Victoria in the AFL Under 18 Championships as a bottom-aged player. He suffered a serious knee injury which forced him to miss the entire season in his final junior year.
