Michael Higgs (born 14 February 1962) is an English actor best known for prominent roles in two long-running television series: Eddie Santini in ITV1's The Bill , and Andy Hunter in the BBC soap opera, EastEnders , in addition to an 8-episode stretch as Dr. Thomas Waugh in Bad Girls .

In 2012–2014, Higgs played Michael Clarke in the BBC sci-fi fantasy series Wizards vs Aliens .

Personal life

Higgs is married to actress Caroline Catz, whom he met on the set of The Bill. They have a son born in 2001 and a daughter who was born in 2006. [2]

The Vice is an ITV police drama about the Metropolitan Police Vice Unit, which ran for five series of varying lengths between 4 January 1999 and 1 July 2003. Murder in Suburbia is a British television drama series first broadcast on ITV on 13 March 2004. The fifteenth series of The Bill, a British television drama, consisted of 87 episodes, broadcast between 7 January and 31 December 1999. The series saw a notable change, as female officers were no longer introduced by the W acronym in ranking, with the last mention of this when Liz Rawton was introduced as a WDC in Follow Through. By the following episode, Walking on Water, female characters were simply introduced as PC/DC etc. On 5 June 2013, The Bill Series 15 Part 1 & 2 and The Bill Series 15 Part 3 & 4 DVD sets were released.
