Michael Higgs (born 14 February 1962) is an English actor best known for prominent roles in two long-running television series: Eddie Santini in ITV1's The Bill and Andy Hunter in EastEnders , in addition to an 8-episode stretch as Dr Thomas Waugh in Bad Girls .

Contents

In 2012–2014 Higgs played Michael Clarke in the BBC sci-fi fantasy series Wizards vs Aliens .

Personal life

He is married to actress Caroline Catz, whom he met on the set of The Bill . They have a son who was born in 2001 and a daughter who was born in 2006. [2]

"More News from Nowhere" is the 28th single by Australian rock band Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and the second single from the album Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!!. The song has a melodic similarity to "Deanna" from the 1988 album Tender Prey and the song also mentions the character of Deanna. The title is a reference to novel News From Nowhere by William Morris. The "narrative" of the song follows that of the Odyssey, using modern names for the gods and nymphs in the original. The video was directed by British artists Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard, who also directed videos for the other singles from this album. It was filmed at the Raymond Revuebar and featured cameo appearances from author Will Self, actors Michael Higgs, Caroline Catz and Karl Theobald, socialite Peaches Geldof, singer/songwriter Beth Orton, British artists Tim Noble and Sue Webster and bass player for The Wonder Stuff Mark McCarthy along with a number of burlesque dancers. Dustin John Higgs was an American man who was executed by the United States federal government, having been convicted and sentenced to death for the January 1996 murders of three women in Maryland. Tamika Black, Tanji Jackson, and Mishann Chinn were all shot and killed near the Patuxent Wildlife Research Center, on the Patuxent Research Refuge in Prince George's County, Maryland. Because this is classed as federal land, he was tried by the federal government rather than by the state of Maryland. His case, conviction, and execution were the subject of multiple controversies.
