Michael LaBerge is a retired American soccer goalkeeper. LaBerge was the 1996 USISL Premier League Goalkeeper of the Year and played professionally in the USL A-League.

In 1993, LaBerge played for Yavapai College. [1] Summer of 1994 He played for Arizona Cotton in the USISL. In the Fall of 1994 he transferred to the University of Evansville where he played out the last three years of his collegiate eligibility. In 1995, during the collegiate off-season, LaBerge played for the Colorado Springs Stampede of the USISL Premier League. [2] He played for them again in 1996 and was named the 1996 USISL Premier League Goalkeeper of the Year [3] While at the University of Evansville, LaBerge in his collegiate career was named Missouri Valley Conference defensive player of the week 4 different times and once Soccer America Magazine goalkeeper of the week. LaBerge in his sophomore collegiate season was named to the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament team, 2nd Team Missouri Valley All Conference, 3rd Team All Region. In his 1996 Senior season, LaBerge was awarded 1st Team Missouri Valley All Conference honors. Also in his 1996 senior campaign, he was crowned champions of the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament in a 3-2 overtime thriller verses Creighton University. For his efforts in the match he was also named Tournament MVP. LaBerge finished his college career with a loss to Indiana University the first round of the NCAA tournament. LaBerge's final piece of hardware at Evansville in 1996 was a team Most Valuable Player award. In January 1997, LaBerge was invited to the MLS goalkeeping combine which was in conjunction with the College all-star weekend. LaBerge opted to turn professional with the Nashville Metros of the USISL A-League, spending two seasons with them. He finished his professional career with the Hershey Wildcats in 2000. [4]

Doug Miller is an American youth soccer coach and retired soccer player. Emmanuel "Manny" Oudin is the former head soccer coach of the Lehigh University women's soccer team. Oudin finished his career at Lehigh after eight seasons ending in 2009. He previously had an extensive playing and coaching career both at the collegiate and professional levels. He played as a defender both indoors and out, winning the 1995 National Professional Soccer League with the Cleveland Crunch. He also coached at the high school, college and professional levels before becoming head coach at Lehigh University.

Brian Loftin is a retired American soccer forward and was the commissioner of the Xtreme Soccer League. He played one season in Major League Soccer with the Tampa Bay Mutiny, as well as several seasons in the USISL. However, his greatest fame as a player came in eight seasons of indoor soccer where he was a consistent scoring threat with the Kansas City Attack and Milwaukee Wave. He also earned twelve caps, scoring five goals, with the United States national futsal team.

The 1996 USISL Select League season was the first season of a professional men's soccer league which featured teams from the United States. The league shared Division II status in the American soccer pyramid with the A-League, before the two leagues merged in 1997 as the USISL A-League.

The 1996 USISL Professional League was the second highest of the three outdoor men's leagues run by the United Systems of Independent Soccer Leagues during the summer of 1996.
