Michael Orshansky is an American researcher in integrated circuit design, and has been Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin since 2003. He received his undergraduate education and Ph.D. at the UC Berkeley. [1]
His research interests include statistical CAD algorithms for design for manufacturability, robust circuit design in the presence of process variability, low-power circuit design, modeling and characterization of semiconductor devices.
He is a recipient of the 2004 National Science Foundation Early Career Development Award (CAREER award), [2] the 2004 IEEE Transactions on Semiconductor Manufacturing Best Paper Award, [3] the Best Paper Award at the 2005 Design Automation Conference [4] and the annual SIGDA Outstanding New Faculty Award. Pramod P. Khargonekar is the Vice Chancellor for Research and Distinguished Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of California, Irvine. An expert in control systems engineering, Dr. Khargonekar has served in a variety of administrative roles in academia and federal funding agencies. Most recently, he served as assistant director for Engineering at the National Science Foundation (2013–2016), and as deputy director for Technology at the Advanced Research Projects Agency – Energy. From 2001 through 2009 he was the Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Florida.

Randal E. Bryant is an American computer scientist and academic noted for his research on formally verifying digital hardware and software. Bryant has been a faculty member at Carnegie Mellon University since 1984. He served as the Dean of the School of Computer Science (SCS) at Carnegie Mellon from 2004 to 2014. Dr. Bryant retired and became a Founders University Professor Emeritus on June 30, 2020.

Chaddick School Chair of the School of Electrical & Computer Engineering at Georgia Tech. He served as the Dean of the Georgia Tech College of Engineering from July 2011 until June 2017.

Massoud Pedram is an Iranian American computer engineer noted for his research in green computing, energy storage systems, low-power electronics and design, electronic design automation and quantum computing. In the early 1990s, Pedram pioneered an approach to designing VLSI circuits that considered physical effects during logic synthesis. He named this approach layout-driven logic synthesis, which was subsequently called physical synthesis and incorporated into the standard EDA design flows. Pedram's early work on this subject became a significant prior art reference in a litigation between Synopsys Inc. and Magma Design Automation.

Yendluri Shanthi Pavan is an Indian electrical engineer and a professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering of the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. He is known for his studies on mixed signal VLSI circuits and is an elected fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering. He is also a fellow of IEEE. The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, the apex agency of the Government of India for scientific research, awarded him the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science and Technology, one of the highest Indian science awards for his contributions to Engineering Sciences in 2012.
