Michel-Pierre Pontbriand (born March 4, 1985) is a former Canadian football fullback. He was signed as undrafted free agent by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on August 17, 2011. This was after playing and finishing as a 1st team all-star as the special teams captain for Team Canada at the football Senior Men's World Championship in Austria. [1] He played CIS Football with the Laval Rouge et Or. He won 3 national championships with Laval as a starter and played in 2 East-West bowl games in Quebec. He played 3 years for Team Quebec when he was in college, and played with the 2003 Canadian Junior Team in San Diego as well. He was named captain on the Bombers special team squad from 2012 to 2016. He was recognized for his strong leadership, work ethic, and discipline. During his professional career, he competed in all regular season and playoff games while spending time doing volunteer work for various Winnipeg football programs. Before playing football, he played AAA soccer, hockey, and baseball until the age of 18.
Michael O'Shea is the head coach of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He is a former Canadian football linebacker and former special teams coordinator of the Toronto Argonauts of the CFL from 2010 to 2013, winning the Grey Cup in 2012. O'Shea played 16 seasons in the CFL for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Toronto Argonauts from 1993 to 2008. He retired second all-time in career tackles with 1,154 and is one of only three players to record over 1,000 tackles. He won the CFL's Most Outstanding Canadian Award in 1999 after recording 84 tackles, 13 special teams tackles and three interceptions that year. O'Shea is a three-time Grey Cup champion as a player, having won all three with the Argonauts in 1996, 1997, and 2004. He is also a two-time Grey Cup winning head coach, having won with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 2019 and 2021; O'Shea also won the Grey Cup previously as a special teams coach with the Toronto Argonauts in the 100th Grey Cup.
Herbert William Gray was a Canadian Football Hall of Fame football player who in the 1950s and 1960's won four Grey Cups and played for two others; and was named the Winnipeg Blue Bombers Defensive Player of the Half Century and to the Canadian Football League's (CFL) All-Time All-Star team at defensive end. He made all-star teams as both an offensive lineman and defensive end and was the first defensive player to win the league's Outstanding Lineman award. Prior to that he was an All-American football player at the University of Texas and helped them to win a share of the 1953 Southwest Conference (SWC) Championship.
Jordan Younger is the defensive coordinator for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He is also a former professional defensive back and played for nine years in the CFL where he won two Grey Cup championships with the Toronto Argonauts.
Dominic Picard is a Canadian former professional football centre who is currently the running backs coach for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played for four different teams over an 11-year career in the CFL. Picard played in 151 regular season CFL games and 11 post-season games and was a member of the 101st Grey Cup champion Saskatchewan Roughriders. He was also named a CFL East All-Star in 2011. He played CIS Football at Laval.
Mike Miller is a Canadian former professional football player who is currently the special teams coordinator for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played in the CFL as a linebacker and fullback for 11 years. He is a three-time Grey Cup champion, having won with the Edmonton Eskimos in 2015 and with the Blue Bombers in 2019 and 2021. He is the CFL's all-time leader in career special teams tackles and holds the record for most special teams tackles in one game with seven.
Frédéric Plesius is a professional Canadian football linebacker who is currently a free agent. He most recently played for the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Plesius made his professional debut for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in 2013. He has also been a member of the Philadelphia Eagles and Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

The Concordia Stingers football team represents Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec, in the sport of Canadian football in the RSEQ conference of U Sports. The Concordia Stingers football program was created in 1974 from the amalgamation of the Loyola Warriors and Sir George Williams Georgians. The team has won three Dunsmore Cup conference championships, in 1982, 1993, and 1998. In 1998, the Stingers also made their first and only appearance in the national championship which was a loss to the Saskatchewan Huskies in the 34th Vanier Cup game.
