Michel Johann Théato was a Luxembourgish born French long-distance runner, and the winner of the marathon at the 1900 Olympics in Paris running for France. He was born in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg and died in Paris, France.
The Union for National Progress is a nationalist political party in Burundi. Initially it emerged as a nationalist united front in opposition to Belgian colonial rule but subsequently became an integral part of the one-party state established by Michel Micombero after 1966. Michel Robert started riding at the age of four on a sheep, complete with saddle and bridle. He advocates a style of riding based on "respect for and harmony with the horse." He began his career in eventing, and later specialized in show jumping. In October 2013, he announced his decision to retire from Grand Prix level competition.

Anne Michel was a Belgian sprinter. She competed in the women's 400 metres at the 1980 Summer Olympics. She also shares in the 4 × 400 metres relay national record, set with Lea Alaerts, Regine Berg and Rosine Wallez at the 1980 Moscow Olympics. Michel died on 21 November 2023, at the age of 64.
