Michela Cobisi (born 4 November 1982 in Milan) is an Italian retired pair skater. With partner Ruben De Pra, she is the 2001 & 2002 Italian national champion. They placed 19th at the 2002 Winter Olympics.

Julia Nikolayevna Obertas, married name: Horak is a former pair skater who represented Ukraine until 2000 and then Russia until the end of her career. She is best known for her partnership with Sergei Slavnov, with whom she competed from 2003 to 2007. They are the 2005 European silver medalists. Earlier, she competed with Alexei Sokolov for Russia and Dmytro Palamarchuk for Ukraine. With Palamarchuk, she became a two-time (1998–1999) World Junior champion.

The controversy led to two pairs teams receiving gold medals: the original winners Elena Berezhnaya and Anton Sikharulidze of Russia, and original silver-medalists Jamie Salé and David Pelletier of Canada. This scandal is one of the causes for the introduction of the ISU Judging System, which replaced the 6.0 system in 2004; one of the elements of the ISU Judging System was anonymous results from the judges, though that particular element was dropped in 2014.
